For some reason when I make this the batter quantity isn’t the same as what shows in the video it only makes about 10 marshmallows :( where did I go wrong

Is the arrow root powder a flavor or does it just keep them from sticking?
1st try I didn't mix well enough and made marshmellow topped maple gummies 😂😂 they tasted great but not quite a marshmellow.
When I let the gelatin bloom it’s gets chunky. What am I doing wrong?
I wonder how I would replace gelatine (allergies). I haven’t had marshmallows in years and I would love to have them again someday 😅

I see how much they jiggle..definitely different...how do they hold up for smores over the fire?
So they are not good for smores they will immediately dissolve. That being said, I have read people saying that you can leave them out for a day or overnight and they tend to get harder, but I have yet to try this! All the homemade smore recipes I've seen that work for smores have had corn syrup in them, and I haven't tried any of those recipes!
