It is hilarious watching this Isaac go from terrified to just absolutely sick of everything. He just gets more and more exasperated by all the crazy tasks he has to do while casually slaughtering hordes of what should terrifying monsters.
Well you either do that and go crazy, or give up in crushing sense of defeat. Personally I'd imagine it going after reaching that breaking point; "Oh, I must fear you? No, you need to be afraid of me!"

A lot these jokes are fucking clever and I love that also like how at the start Issac is “talking” and they talk over him prompting him to make a comment like I guess I’m not here or something along those lines definitely enjoy this take on one of if not my favorite survival horror game of the 360 ps3 era of gaming

Okay I said it before when this was individual parts but I love the way you had Isaac start out funny scared, funny excepting, and then funny insane, because I feel that's how most people would handle this they would start of scared eventually except the situation then either from cutting dead people up or the marker, just go insane and have fun.
lol, against the twitchers (the fast moving ones), I had to "nope" the entire time with the alternative fire of the machine gun (the sprinkler of death that wastes ammo like no tomorrow). They just kept appearing out of nowhere and I couldn't shoot what I couldn't see, so fair is fair. Also, I always turn up the brightness to pretty much max...can't even see the hallways and it's like, "whoever did this did this on purpose" because light doesn't fade that way. A single match can light up a room but a flashlight and wall-mounted lights won't? lol

I love the idea there are just a bunch of survivors hiding in the ship and they're just playing music in places that Isaac can hear them but not see them. Honestly, I'm surprised you need thermite to get through the barrier when you're carrying a plasma cutter that's purpose is to cut through materials, which is useful when mining. I'm pretty sure the plasma would be hotter than the thermite anyway. It shoots ionized plasma, which and I'm pretty sure is a heat of about 11,000 f, and the general thermite heat is about 4,000 I think? I'm no expert, but I guess it does save a bit of the plasma cutter ammo
I don’t know exactly if the cutter is functioning the way it’s ment to. A cutter like that I would imagine would be more like a beam not a blast. I could see that the cutter was reworked for a shot to effectively cut limbs over a harder to use laser
when it comes to temperature, time is a factor. There's not really any explanation of how the plasma cutter and it's wider laser friend work whereas with thermite it is a prolonged burn. Look up the Leidenfrost effect, it's interesting

you think that's bad? I watched someone play alien isolation. It basically took the same idea but an immortal enemy is ALWAYS following you and you can't see it 90% of the time and if you can see it, you're 99% guaranteed to die. Only way you can track it is with a radar that somehow picks up motion in the walls
I love how you turned this game into funny mess Also gameplay wise the enemy's are really easy to kill but the fear of being close to them and how they can kill you easily if you mess up is what makes you miss and die

Imagine if someone went through an entire playthrough, roleplaying as Isaac and actually making a list of the things he’d need vs already have to repair the ship. Whenever he upgrades his suit and gear, he just checks off all of the [thing]-specific factors that make this [thing] so special for what it is. Maybe he complains that the intermediate suit should be the standard, maybe giggling at how he made one of the weapons at home as a DIY to screw with someone, listing off the components he’d need to make one of the weapons at home, etc. To me, that sounds like a treat for the ears, especially when a Necromorph jumps outta the blue and interrupts his coping mechanism that is hyper-focusing on his job.

watching this back really makes me realize just how much they changed in the remake..like isaac actually talks now. maybe they were inspired by this series? idk edit from the future: i really dont know how the usm valor got taken out by one necromorph..your telling me not one of these supposedly highly trained miltary dudes with rifles and stasis rigs didnt manage to blast it to shreds? even if they didnt know to cut off the limbs they wouldve gotten lucky through sheer volume of ammo being fired..mind boggling they didnt change that for the remake either.
I’m going to make it even worse for you, they’d have seen it in the escape pod (remember that there’s a window that they can look through, which is how Issac and Hammond knew) and known about it and it still killed them all. Hell, once they saw what was in it, why would they even open it? I fucking hate this story point in the original and the remake.
I never played this game and I doubt I'll ever have the guts for it. It seems like the best survival/cosmic horror gorefest. The sound design alone is so exquisite... Thank you for turning it into a black comedy :)

watching this back really makes me realize just how much they changed in the remake..like isaac actually talks now. maybe they were inspired by this series? idk
edit from the future: i really dont know how the usm valor got taken out by one necromorph..your telling me not one of these supposedly highly trained miltary dudes with rifles and stasis rigs didnt manage to blast it to shreds? even if they didnt know to cut off the limbs they wouldve gotten lucky through sheer volume of ammo being fired..mind boggling they didnt change that for the remake either.
I’m going to make it even worse for you, they’d have seen it in the escape pod (remember that there’s a window that they can look through, which is how Issac and Hammond knew) and known about it and it still killed them all.
Hell, once they saw what was in it, why would they even open it?

I never played this game and I doubt I'll ever have the guts for it. It seems like the best survival/cosmic horror gorefest. The sound design alone is so exquisite...
