This version of future Donnie’s death has hands down been my fav to come out so far and it’s so sick someone made something for it

I think I saw the author of “Mutant Ninja Midlife Crisis” say on tumblr that Donnie did everything he could think of (drugging Leo, deactivating his arm) to keep Leo from blaming himself for his death the way he had blamed himself for Raph’s. To make it so that Leo shouldn’t be able to blame himself for not stopping Donnie because Donnie made sure he was PHYSICALLY INCAPABLE of stopping him. This scene fucking haunts me, and this AMV absolutely does justice to it!

This is one of those animatics you have to rewatch over and over again to really absorb how amazing it is
The amount of angst in this fandom is going to make me run out of tears one day
I remember very little of TMNT but all i know is that THIS is just incrediable! The music really makes it have some sort of feel to it. Once again amazing work Casserole cant wait to see what you do next!

Just watching this brings a chill down my spine. No, it struck my whole body like a goddamn lightning. The scene was built up perfectly and you clearly know what you're doing here. Not only did you succeed in pulling rottmnt fans deeper into the abyss of pain and suffering but you also make it comprehendible to non-fans so you can lure them in as well. And I love it.

I finally got up to this chapter and played That unwanted animal just to be in my feels. Donnie went out like a champ and I've never been more prouder he didn’t give the Krang any information even after they tried unlocking where everyone else in the Resistance were hiding. This chapter wrecked me, and I thought future Leo would get a break from his survivor's guilt here goes the dream/flashback and then the bitterness at the end. Beautiful fanfic I can't wait to continue reading 😢😢😢

How the flip did you know I've been watching this! I just started watching Rise of the TMNT like last week and just finished the first season.
Having struggles finding the second season on something for free tho so if anyone has any suggestions, much appreciated.
The whole series (but not the movie) is on paramount plus. The first month is free, I think. You'll have to check though.
