    Excellent! Thank you! I loved when the hummingbird fluttered right into the plant and right past you! Pretty awesome!
    I love making tea from all of my herbs, oregano, yes lemon balm, rosemary, even thyme! But the thyme kicks my you know what, so I have to go easy on the thyme. I love them all! And I get as much benefit from harvesting, choosing, and preparing my tea as I do from drinking it.
    Lastly, I’ve never heard of this being done but I have been taking a flat bottom glass and smashing Lemon Balm (or maybe it’s lemon basil ?) in a shallow dish with a little bit of water in it. Then I pour the water in a glass and add more cold water and stir in raw honey for a summertime drink. OH MY GISH!! IT IS AWESOME!! I can’t get enough!! I sometimes smash the leaves through a strainer screen too, to get as much out of them as I can! It’s a wonderful light green color and the taste has so many tones to it that I have to sip it in tiny sips to truly absorb all the wonderful flavors!
    Thank you again. I have really enjoyed this series.

    Hi Rose! Love your all your videos! We moved to Oregon last year, growing lots of herbs n flowers so this video came to me at just the right time! With all the pine trees around me I started drinking pine needle tea, crossing it with lemon balm! Will miss you, your lovely garden, nursery and yoga! Blessings to you always! 🙏🏻 Pat

    Hi Rose I loved this series on herbs. You are so interesting and informative, even tho I find it amusing the way you pronounce herb without the H 😁 (I'm British)
    On this tea-making episode, when you cut a sprig or pulled petals or flower heads off the plant, to show us, were you giving us an idea of how much to use in the tea? I really want to know the amounts of leaves, or flowers etc.
    Thanks x

    I really enjoyed this! I'd also suggest that lemongrass, rosemary, and sage in particular, and "grassy" herbs in general, are great for steeping in bone broth or homemade stock/broth.

    This was the best herbal tea video I've seen so far. I have a couple of questions. I've been thinking about starting a tea house focusing mostly on herbal tea, grown in the garden of the tea house. How big is your garden? Do you only grow herbs? What do you think, what size of garden would one need to create a sustainable tea house? Thank you so much!

      You would have to have seasonal teas since different herbs grow during different seasons. A great idea would be to look up videos of tea houses and hopefully you find some that grow their own herbs to see how they do it. Much love and abundance!🙏

    What’s going on with all these Yanks pronouncing Herbs without the H?

    • @sylviahammond8652
      @sylviahammond8652 Місяць тому +1

      Our ignorance doesn't understand that sounding the "H" is bad manners in American . . Probably stems from the the original immigrants' way of pronunciation of the English language (many times not sounding the H) is the norm!
