- Compared to the last two years, there wasn’t one specific driver involved in a lot of these stoppages. But the stoppages did have its bizarre moments so here’s the annual red flag video, focusing on the season where Kyle Busch was champion.
Yes, there will be an Xfinity, Trucks and IndyCar red flag video before the year ends.

Ah Gaughan is always a treat to listen to. Wish he had a more successful career because he sure has the devotion to the sport.

Been doing it since 2017. There's a playlist of each Cup Series season dating back to 1990. 2001 is super short because it was the first one I did.

I'm not a frequent viewer of Nascar as I don't think it gets much coverage on TV in the UK. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I do have a couple of questions about it. Does Nascar only use slick tyres? I was surprised to see the track being dried. I would have thought intermediate or full wet tyres would have been available to use in rain. What are the flaps that open on the roof and hoods of the cars for?
Slick tyres only. Flaps are intended to keep cars on the ground, otherwise they'll fly.

The Coke Zero 400 this year was the biggest shit show I’ve ever seen in my life. The Friday race was incredible but the cup race was awful. Terrible race, huge crash took out the whole field and then a red flag conspiracy with Kurt Busch gave the win to someone who did not deserve a win due to the race being called due to rain. If we have a list for the worst races in NASCAR history, this one is between 20th and 10th

When every car is identical, and no one can get out of the pack, this happens EVERY race. Overtime or green white checker, does not matter. Nascar will only be happy when they can kill a few more drivers. Take the fucking restrictor plates off and let a few separate packs form. That way if there is a wreck, you only take out a few cars. As it it now, one wreck takes 1/2 the field. Stupid.

Ahhh when your race cars are so shit it only takes some rain to stop an event. Unlike EVERY other racing series in existence that knows what wet tires are.
