- We are getting the feel for the new OS18 sawmill by @FrontierSawmills
This new sawmill works very closely to how the OS23 does, but the OS18 is not without its quirks. It is very hard to cut a true 96" log on the sawmill. We have the extensions on the way. My recommendation is to pay the extra $200 for the extension kit upfront and save on the shipping cost.

You really know what you are doing love it great job mate look forward to the next chapter mate love and God bless you and your family.
Thanks again all. Always interesting to see nothing turned into something. Handy wee mill.
Great video thanks Tony and Tanya
Glad you enjoyed it. We are sure learning more each time we use it.
I have opened up many a "rotten log" on my OS31 to find some beautiful grain. That has built some beautiful bars, walls and counters.
Great video and really looks like a well engineered mill. I especially like the lock that holds the mill head in place and the log stops.
Beautiful wood! 👍🪵🪵🪵🪵
That is one handy little saw mill. Would be good for someone who is new to the saw mills' awesome stuff, as always
I think it's going to be a great little resaw sawmill. We are going to use it for the cabin build but after that I may put it indoors and turn it electric.
Love it
Hey Tony! Just a quick tip for your OS18: take the bolt out of the clutch and put some LocTite on it. Mine came out while I was running the mill and chewed the key up pretty good. Was able to get a replacement and get it back up and running.
Gizmo says playing wif chicken is your work!
The first thing he did this morning when we got to the farm was pick up his chicken.
I so want to get a mill!
They are addictive!
@@TonysTractorAdventure i wanna do what you guys do.... so badly
As annoying as the chicken is in person (from much experience), Gizmo's chicken noises make this one of my favorite videos. 😊
We started playing toy chicken with him before work at the farm a few months ago. He brought a toy from home. Now it is everyday.
Good morning Tony, hope you survived the storms last night (6/25). I'm thinking of getting one of those portable sawmills but I prefer the USA made Wood Mizer. What do you do with all of that sawdust/wood shavings?
Have you some of the sawdust in my garden? As I get more I will burn it.
How wide is the track system for this? Got mine coming soon and want to cut some timbers for it to rest on.
Edge is call slabs
Yup
🤗💘
What size motor
You’re going to have buyer’s remorse….with that squeaky chicken.
😁 people are starting to send Gizmo toys from Amazon. I may regret showing him playing with the children.
