Well done research, especially considering the convoluted political situation in Germany at the time. A remarkable detailed model for M, but made by Trix does explain, although M had improved as well of course. A dashy addition and easy listening as always. Thank you for letting us partake in this.
The catalogue page with 4261 is shown at 1:26 in the video 🙂 As a side note the construction of these cars doesn't appear like typical Märklin. I bought a separate Trix 3rd class car that looks very similar, including details of the construction. The roof is different. It looks more like plastic instead of the metallic color of the Märklin cars and the spiky things (vents?) are at different positions. I think I'll paint it because it sticks out in a train.
Fascinating history, makes the trains come alive! Monsieur fixit is required 😀
Merci! Glad you enjoyed it.
Congratulations on your new train, nice to see the layout is still intact. Thanks for sharing.😊
Thank you very much! The layout will still be operational for quite while 😉
it´s always a pleasure to listen to your detailed coverages about history of trains , nice model in good condition👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Excellent video. The presentation of context adds a lot to the interpretation of the set.
Thank you kindly!
I am new to Märklin & I find your videos excellent, informative for both the history & the models. Thank you.
Thanks a lot! Glad to read you the videos help.
