Jordan Kowalski I like Leo Jimenez too, is a spanish metal singer. Listen his belt notes on the song called "Dolor" of Stravaganzza. He has a perfect voice in belts and low notes too...
I agree with you... Although Brendon, Lee, Jackie and Alex had good ones too, but Adam Lambert is the first one, his f5 was so incredibly rich and full, smooth and he makes it look so easy!
Yay, you used my suggestion :D thanks! 1: Jeffrey Lewis (this note made me feel so happy and I have no idea why, lol) 2: Lee Hyuk 3: Jackie Wilson 4: Adam Lambert 5: Mitch Grassi.
But Remember That He Is A Normal Tenor Which Can Damage His Voice If He Do It For A Long Time, This Note Doesn't Effect A Countertenor By The Way Like Mitch Grassi,Steve Perry And Russell Hitchcock.
trevin avery tonex stevie jordan mitch jonah brendon brian Jackie lee david adam jefferey all did it stylistically...surprisingly my favorite was David Phelps 3rd to the last lol he hit it like it was the only option lol
Lee Hyuk had an accident when he was younger and lost almost two-thirds of his tongue. and now he is the best singer in korean and one of the best high tenor ever. this man is so amazing
+Phạm Thị Quý wait, he doesn't have two-thirds o his tongue? You've got to be kidding. This guy is insanely talented. Actually, even that's an understatement. How does he do that?
Great and wonderful compilation of men hitting F5 (no falsetto but either belt/mix tone or full round head tone). No disrespect on this....How high are you taking these men?
JamesFhameArtist Fhame well ones a contratenor and the others is a leggario tenor so🤷🏼♂️ excuse my spelling I’m only regurgitating recently acquired info lol
@@Advanceyourenglish5 no it’s not my guy his highest mix is a E5 masked it’s mainly when you use falsetto but add some nasal but there is a very big difference
@@Christfollower06 That makes no sense at all. Firstly, falsetto is a voice quality that occurs within registers and it cannot be projected. If it is, it stops being falsetto. Mixing is altering registers. Mitch is altering M2 by adding oral twang and sob quality to it. It’s a light mixed voice. Stop watching videos here and do some real research. Mask-placed head voice doesn’t exist and it won’t ever do. In fact, the concept of ‘mask' is totally obsolete and nonsensical.
@@Advanceyourenglish5 falsetto is a term for head voice when it’s more airy and lighter I was just talking about head voice calling it falsetto and if you think head voice can’t be projected then you most definitely haven’t heard an opera singer masked head voice is a thing I don’t know where you are learning for stuff and Mitch isn’t mixing that it’s just not a mix if you think that is then you really don’t understand what a mix is I know what a light mix is and that isn’t
It's sad when singers don't show up on future videos in this series because they can't sing any higher, personally I'm gonna miss phelps in the F#5 vid
I wish I was a high tenor. People claim to be high tenors all the time, but actually dont even come close to qualifying as one. As a Baritone, I take pride in my voice and my actual voice placement. I don't need to flaunt and pretend to be a high tenor for the social validation. When it comes time to sing, I dont stress hitting the notes. Plus, I have a natural high resonance so I can keep up with tenors. Idk, some people just lie to be liked.
When I was younger I used to wish to be a baritone. I hated my "high pitched" voice (comparing to the others). Now that I'm 20, my lows developed more and my voice isn't so high as I thought it would be. I love my voice now lol.
im pretty similar too but i am kinda stuck in a phase of not fully accepting, I thought I was a baritone because I never sang and would speak low, I also compare my higher timbre voice to others (High voice is more about timbre than pitch) as i thought it was not masculine. what helped you in accepting and loving your voice?
In 2013 my voice started to changed, it changed drastically haha, here is a video from 2014: instagram.com/p/BDzNrGJwV9k., I'm singing mostly in falsetto but you can see my real tone in the end of video. I just started to love my timbre since 2014 lol. Here is a video of my actual tone (2016): instagram.com/p/BLvv-fwhVPh/, (I don't like this video tho). My keeps changing, you can see the difference in this video from 2015 (instagram.com/p/BCCKzlvwV1P/?taken-by=rafael_araujooo) and the one from 2016. Ps.; My technique changed a lot through the years lol, and it's different now too.
Bhangchahang Rai Well, what honestly made me start accepting it is making original music that made my voice sound the best. Some people have voices that naturally sound better in certain genres. I was always trying to have a pop voice, but I later realized that it wasn't right for my voice color. I started moving into like, jazz-swing rock, electro-rock and saw a major performance gain in my voice. I've have a naturally nasally rasp, so I can pull off high notes and fry notes easily and make them sound well. Engineering and mixing the vocals in the studio is an art of itself as well. You got to know how to mix a certain voice type. My voice type is a baritenor and as long as I keep singing consistently, the easier high notes become. My full range use to be F2-G#4, and now my full range is G#2-C#5. So I lost a couple of low notes and replaced them with high notes. Its just what you practice.
I'm a Lyric Tenor, so I didn't turn a high tenor as a thought a would be. Thank God, because I wouldn't like to have a higher pitched voice than it's now. My full vocal range is F2-G5-C6 now but I don't like to sing below B2 (my lowest supported note is Bb2) and I'm working on Bb4 and above, because my tone changes at B4 since it's out of my supported range.
OK, so most of the of these are mixed voice belts, how would i do this. I have a 4.6 octave vocal range, but I am going through puberty. I can't do it, I've tried. I can hit the note like Mitch does in head voice, but not a powerful mix. Please if you have any tips say them
Mitch's mix is quite unique sounding in that it sounds quite sharp and metallic but this did sound different to his mix, his life performance of Aha! In Singapore at the end was amuck better note but it might've been F#5 or higher
Alex Newell> Adam Lambert> clark beckam> Jeffrey Lewis> Tonex> Brendon Urie> Mitch> Avery wilson> Christian castro> Trevin Hunte> Stevie wonder... My favs❤
The countertenor voice is a type of male singing voice having a female-like timbre, and the tenor is only having a dark and warm timbre, which is a standard male voice range.
Qual o nome da musica que o Brendon Urie está cantando tipo aaah aaah aaaaah (8' ? Whitch the name of the song that Brendon Urie is singing? Like aaah aaaah aaaaaah (8'
And for those who thinks Alex Newell did good idk what else to say except he's just screaming with a lot of throatiness and high larynx with no musicality and no good placement.
Adam Lambert is really not screaming and neither was Mitch Grassi, both hit their notes with plenty of support. It may seem like screaming because to mix like that takes a LOT of breath support but they both do it beautifully.
Metal singers have the best voices and mixed notes...
Alberto GM So true! Matt Barlow of Iced Earth and Ashes of Ares has a badass F5 belt in "Year of the Phoenix".
Jordan Kowalski Thank you, I just listen this song. Good band!

As usual, David Phelps AND Adam Lambert SLAYED THEM ALL!

David Phelps has more body to his octave 5s, but Lambert can spend more time up there.
Cristian Castro bro
David's control for this note battle won it for me, but Adam is the overall vocal tank.
But where is David Phelps everyone is talking about in this video? Couldn't locate him.

you put an Adam song at the begining, i like that

Probably A5.
Chad Guindon highest I've heard a male belt is A5.
Stevie Wonder can belt up to D6
D6, though i'm sure there are a few male singers out there who can belt up to Eb6.
NotAGoat Not me. I can only do up to G#5 on most days but on a very good day, I'll do a C6 which is hit in moderation.

David Phelps' is the best. Well, he came from claasical background, so...
Yawn...
These are good singers, but they are schoolchildren compared to Lucien Sur. This vocalist has magic that's hard to explain.
