For politics to matter, you have to be invested in the long term future. The reason so many Americans don’t vote is because they aren’t truly invested in any long term holistic viewpoint of America.
Abstaining from voting can also be that you are the base being set up to support other nations needs above our own people. Closed the economy for a year and got a couple grand. They hate us.

I don't vote because I live in one of the majority of states where the electoral college ensures my vote doesn't matter (my state is as far in favor of my positions as possible). And I have never allowed social pressure to sway me into voting when I know my reasons for not doing so.
That’s a great way of looking at it. I am a veteran. I’m not voting because the whole system is dumb. The things that matter the most is never on the ballot. If they had put if we should Act on the existing laws when it comes to immigration, I would’ve been down there to vote. But there made me vote for things that I do not give a damn about and they don’t even educate me to vote. I go in the voting booth and I’m looking at names that I do not recognize there was a time I would always choose women because that was a safe bet but then they came across Miss Kamala Harris. I’ve never met anybody that dumb on the national scale who has the audacity to speak out loud
I love your message about listing issues rather than just going by one. One of the things I’ve struggled with is as much as people say it’s not about the person, I have felt in the last decade that it absolutely has. There’s been so much anger and contention. I wish for a decade ago when insults were not thrown as harshly among candidates. It felt more civil. Not perfect. But the level of contention right now, fueled by candidates, is off putting. I want a candidate that speaks civilly. That spends their time talking about the good they want to do, not putting down the opponent. That has SUCH an impact on the temperament of the country.
Despite what some of these sanctimonious evangelicals might say, our military personnel, who put their lives on the line, keeping you safe and defending your religious freedom, deserve a competent commander in chief.

Even if Trump doesn’t really personally support what his voters support from a religious perspective. Trump is all about conveying strength and dominance over others. Voting is not just a right, it's a responsibility. If you don't know how the government works or the issues at hand, you have no business voting. Voters should be informed.
Anyone who is choosing to not exercise their right to vote are also throwing away their right to criticize. If someone does not approve of either candidate, I am echoing Rachel's response and saying at the very least, write in. If you think that this is "throwing away" a vote, this is not so. This is crowd mentality (see Madness of Crowds). A write- in is collectible data and the more write-ins that occur, the more data will show not only disapproval but also a demand for a change in party rhetoric and behavior or a need for another party in addition to the ones that may be failing us. This is very important data and to not vote is to withhold this important information. We are very fortunate and even blessed to have this right. Exercise it. It will not be a waste.

Thus, BOTH sides increased "global" all cause mortality THROUGH POLICIES that are never discussed (for profit murder, toxins, & perversion). Most recently, Trump-amaniac initiatives started the death process. The Biden zombie and Harris hyena accelerated the societal deterioration of the human experience. Now, this election is just gathering permission (votes) to be the capstone of the beast system being established (Revelation 2-14). Whoever wins, biological lifeforms all lose. The political winner will just be continuing what was left undone. Politics as usual.

It's simple to see, but satan makes it appear complex. Study the Holy Bible to find YOURSELF APPROVED. Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is nearer with every second! We TEMPORARILY live HERE & now... to find ETERNAL life with GOD later through seeking/finding Jesus. To deny Jesus is to accept eternal death (Hades toture). Dave didn’t have to really say anything but he did. And he explained his process in that decision making and it makes complete sense.
Voting is the second most important duty we have as citizens. Taking a back seat only to serving on a jury. Voting choses the direction of your government. A jury of peers is the last chance someone has to prevent the government from depriving a citizen of their liberty.
NEWS-FLASH: Our votes don't matter. Presidents are chosen by the Deep State. Stay tuned...disclosure coming soon.
Sadly , my Candidate isn’t on any ballot, but He will most likely be here soon………..

Trump faced a jury of his peers... guilty.
Wrong. Your first duty is to your creator, then your family period. For now we still have a right not to vote, so stop condemning those who for personal reason decide to sit out an election.
I think that’s a great tool and way to decide for who to vote for. Some people are just emotional and they don’t analyze, listen, and just follow what the media is saying without any research.
You just described the democrat party
Voting is like taking the bus. It's a public service, you meet the candidates/bus where they are, and pick one for the purpose of getting you as close to where you want to go as they're able to take you.
This is a fantastic analogy!! Thanks for sharing it! I've never heard it said before.
So are you willing to get on the rape bus?
dumbest thing I have ever heard, no politician cares about you.
Great analogy
I've never heard that before. That's exactly what it's like.
I appreciate how open and honest this conversation was. Alot of the time saying who we voted for and why has become a little taboo as to not offend, or drive people away
Not many people will do what Dave did, and just be open with his opinions and who he is voting for. Everyone has the right to vote for who they want, and I’m still going to watch his show regardless.
Sure, they will. I haven't yet heard the part where he announces the shocking news of who has his vote-I already know it's Trump.
I won’t - voting for Trump is a bridge too far
He gave his reasons and it boils down to policy and stances on particular issues. What's wrong with that? So much for the "tolerant" left huh?!
@@emilyhutchens3682 he stated Harris is “pro abortion”. That is not a reason it is lie. She is pro choice - HUGE difference. Dave is only concerned about his pocket and not about losing democracy if Trump gets in. Trump stated he wanted to be a dictator on day one. The left is tolerant. How a boycotting a show anti tolerance?
@1960BobD pro abortion or pro choice.... it really wasn't a lie and you know what he meant. I saw a study several years ago indicating Republicans are far more likely to be friends or date someone who disagrees with them politically as opposed to Democrats. What factual data can you point to suggesting Democrats are more tolerant than Republicans? You literally implied above you won't listen to him or follow him because he shares different political beliefs than you. And don't even get me started on the democracy issue with what they did with Biden/Kamala several months prior to an election.
Those who blindly follow for the sake of the “party” are the problem. The way Dave explained this was spot on. Make a list on the policies and go with whoever checks off more on your list
For the most part it's just normal. The 2 parties are totally different, seem consistent in a number of beliefs and values and so you want your side to win. Democrats are guilty of this - Kamala's approval rating jumped like 5000% overnight just because Joe Biden said he wanted her to be the nominee. That's a perfect example of party before country.
@@agoogleuser1495 Most people shifted over and supported Kamala because she was finally what pretty much everyone had been asking for -- a younger candidate.
Choosing a younger candidate that isn't riddled with dementia like Biden and Trump IS the very act of putting your country over party/politician. Biden recognized he couldn't keep up anymore and endorsed the literal person he had chosen to replace him if he died. Not deeper than that honestly -- she was voted into office WITH Joe. Trying to at all compare that to trump supporters who have stuck by his side through every scandal & felony that was proven true, ignoring him spewing 1930's level nazi talking points while having a literal plan to take over the country as a dictator, AND insisting he is mentally sound when he can't form a coherent sentence to save his life IS the very act of pointing a politician/party over your country.

Trump does good business, just write the contract clearly.
Nobody is expecting a pastor among these two candidates but character is the foundation that is expected in the life of any decent person and if you don’t have it as a person , it is a failure right there no matter how good you preach in the other aspect that governs a system . That is my # 1 check mark and I already know who I am voting for thank you Dave .
It is funny how character does not matter for most important job. What a joke?
The Lord searches the heart, amazing that you believe you can as well. Remarkable….
@@avionde3171Some people show you their heart. No searching need.
Lack of character and values are the foundation for the Hitlers of the world . Trump not only lacks a good Character but lacks results also . For every one who is worry about the border just to remind you Trump was a president before Biden and he run on fixing the border , Mexico was paying for a wall , the congress was Republican and he was going to reform our immigration system . I’m a person of results period . No border fixed , No wall pay by Us or Mexico , no immigration reform so no results . No health care plan , where is the Trumpcare he run on ? Exactly 0 results and the highest deficit of any president and he was to have a chance again ? Only ignorants will give it to him . I really wish Kamala would of told him at the debate you were the president and you didn’t fixed the border so would you shut up man .

Voting is not just a right, it's a responsibility. If you don't know how the government works or the issues at hand, you have no business voting. Voters should be informed.
And yet, many politicians try so hard to take that right away.
@@john.maynard ...no.
@@robertlunderwood actually, yes. But, ok.
You also have the freedom to not vote.
That’s awesome Dave! Glad to hear it. Vote vote vote
“Don’t stick your head so far up your Party” is comedy gold 😆
So funny because Dave only votes repub even after the guy trying to get back in office tried to over throw the govt and didn't want to do a peaceful transfer of power. Thank God I don't listen to Dave for his voting preferences 😂😂😂. He should stick to financial advice. He is compromised and judgment clouded.
@@moisthe2 ironic isn’t it 😆
@@Bees-knees99 yessss!!! What's wrong with this guy, what planet is he on 😂😂😂
@@moisthe2 it’s highly disappointing that Dave seems to have such high regard for his wife & daughters yet he disregards the repulsive behaviours Trump continues to exhibit against women, people of colour, etc and I can only come to the conclusion it is because Dave is lowering his standards to vote for the person who will reduce taxes for millionaires. It’s pretty gross.
That’s the best quote I’ve ever heard!!!!
“Hold your nose and vote!” ~ Dave Ramsey
he is a quote machine
Hold your nose and vote is the reason that we have so many inept politicians in office. This attitude takes all the decision process and judgement out of the voting process which makes it an "us against them" political system. How is that working for you right now?
@gibblespascack1418 and people like you and me are the reason bill Clinton became president. I voted for Ross Perot. You have to vote for the person who will do the best and has the best chance to be elected
@@itdadof3 I voted for Bush, not Clinton.
To vote for his selection would require removing your nose and all sense of smell - but respect that he will vote - anyone who doesnt vote has no right to expect us to listen to them complain

no one is perfect but everyone isn't a psycho either.
You barely noted ‘foreign policy’ as a policy. Nor did you note rational minded leadership skills, or managerial style. Very important, as president must appoint competent, experienced advisors and cabinet members . When history shows a revolving door of advisors fired or forced out ( or who resigned early) that reflects on the president’s ability to govern.
Seriously. These people are so stupid they ignore that all the experts around Trump either get fired or they leave because he's inept. And then what does Trump do? He hires inept family and friends to fill in these extremely important roles. But you can't reason with people who have basically been brainwashed and believe every word Trump says.
He didn't have time to cover every little issue. That's why he said "policies that you aline with".
Poor baby, sounds like you got your little feelings hurt.
Have you not heard how KH people are quitting right and left because she's a tyrant to work for? Darn algorithms!
Trump made the mistake of allowing some of the traitorous dems remain in position. He knows better this time - he'll be cleaning out all the diversity hire clowns. DEI = DID NOT EARN IT!
Dave, I really appreciate your level-headed, reasonable approach and advice. We’ll likely have a federal election next year here in Canada, so your advice is timely for me, too. Thank you!
Dave said the term “woke” and then the commercial break music started. Lol.
Even in Joe Biden’s America I can afford the $14 a month to not have any commercials. So God bless you, baby. I have no idea what you’re talking about.

The sad thing is not only people not voting but more so that too many Americans just accept media propaganda instead of actually reading court transcripts, congress bills and doing research. It’s lazy and pathetic.
I agree with you 100%. Americans are lazy!
Yep. We got some of those people right here in the comments section. They are quite easy to spot.
We know Dave. You've never voted for a Democrat.
Anyone sane does not. Only children who are all emotions vote blue.

Presidents are SELECTED not elected by the powers that be. Trumps the handpicked president the elites are putting in. He's the coming AC the Bible talks of
Unfortunately, that is not in the Bible. God commands us to “ owe no man anything, but lto love”. “ go into all the world and preach the good news of Christ”. these are the commands of God, not Liberal talking points. If you want to enforce the Ten Commandments and stand up for Righteousness, I think Moses is your guy, unfortunately, Moses isn’t here……..He got replaced.
...and many Christians have decided that on every other issue involved, Trump is ANTI- life.
I really appreciate the thoughtful process you used to make your decision. I believe the same process should be used when making any important decision. It appears you used a lot of logic and left the emotion out of your process. Well done and thank you for sharing!
