Weiss is such a great collectible item to people (like me) who love the different anime/show IP's. It's a CCG that awakens the true collector's spirit!
So in regards to not getting a Triple Rare in the third or fourth box: each case (16 or 18 boxes) is "guaranteed" 1 copy of each triple rare from the set.
@@YokoBeLoco bushiroad recently changed it so new english sets (rent-a-gf and any sets after) have 18 boxes in a case. any sets before have 16 boxes in a case. pull rates also sometimes depends on the sets.
Biggest thing about Weiss 1. If you want to play the game just pre order playsets 2. If you want to invest like you said cases are the only real long term value people are catching on to loose boxes 3.Meta dictates values rarely is an IPs popularity strong enough to overcome a badly designed sets
For most TCG's like MTG, it's all statistics. DM22 collectors, for example, has ~1 textured foil per case (3% chance per pack) with like 5% chance of getting either 0 or 2. I've heard of people receiving 3. It's purely superstition to think you're scamming by selling non-hit boxes after getting a hit.
I have some of these, and haven't played the game as much as MTG/FaB/MZ but it is solid and every now/then me and buddies will play the game and bust open some boxes. I will say the 2x Attack on Titan boxes (mine are the reprints) are solid. Rudy: +1 for showing a case opening instead of 1-2 boxes.
I live in Czechia wheres no shop selling weiss so i luckily found one serious shop in Netherlands who send me HIT boxes :) got 2 signature cards in one order.
theres potential for slime vol.3 or movie set. series still going & also 2 hits per box not guaranteed . but i miss these old box style i just like these lil short rectangle boxes more then the new jp style boxes
As someone who can not afford complete cases, i hate to buy loose booster boxes from Weiss Schwarz...i dont think they will, but they should change, that you are guaranteed to get a certain amount of case hits...
@Ooof 99% of the cards are just anime screenshots with arbitrary numbers & text. Weeb Schwartz is just too niche as an investment. Better to invest in the big 3 TCG. Also it seems every LGS in Montréal has stopped selling Weeb singles.
@Ooof that's a fine opinion to hold but it's a bit silly imo. I don't need to play a game 5-10 times to realize the mechanics are not strong. I can usually do that in one, I'll play a second to be sure
Nice to see Weeb stuff on this channel lol, IDK though quality of cards seems pretty bad compared to MTG (obv) when it's just a still from the anime, wish they had used some original art or something.
Weiss card stock is actually the best I've seen, and I've collected mtg, yugi, FoW, and weiss. And like Rudy says, the high end foils are superbly done. I can see a person not appreciating anime art though, but some of us prefer that to the generic art mtg has.
That also depends on the source material where the screen caps are from. Some anime just look more ass than others. Attack on Titan, Fate/stay night or Madoka Magica all had gorgeous looking shows where most screen caps could be wallpapers. Others just look lame and boring, Slime being one of them in my opinion. For many cards they also use promo art, it's not all just screen caps. Again, that varies from set to set. Also, the fact that it's anime screen caps is more or less the point because the cards, occasionally, are supposed to reflect what happened in the show with their names, art, effects so you can "recreate" scenes on the battlefield. When they do flavor right, such as with Gurren Lagann, Mob Psycho 100, or Attack on Titan in particular, it just makes an already great game with tight gameplay even more fun to play when you are a fan of the franchise. It's a fan service game in that regard, but you can also just chase the meta and have a good time.
@@emida2012 Yeah I don't follow weiss so IDK what they usually do in terms of card art, I've just seen some great original art in Slime's other collaborations and think it could have been better instead of just screen caps. This is coming from me who is a big fan of the Slime franchise but this card art just looks kinda dull imo.
Magic, Weiss Schwarz, keep pumping Rudy!! Love it!!

This is actually the only Weiss Schwarz set I was able to open vol. 2

You know the pull rates, but you don't know how many boxes come in a case? Weird

@@YokoBeLoco you're a joke. You don't have a clue. Bushiroad changed case sizes changed from 16 to 18. They know the rates.

I wonder if Rudy saw attack on titan dropped from 150 to 60 out of nowhere
Not out of no where they got reprinted

Can't wait to see some Attack on Titan unboxings, I pre-ordered a case myself. HYPE
love your talks at the end of you video!! keep up the good work
Why doesnt rudy open any yugioh products
Because they're worthless.
The dark side of hit cases is getting the hit and selling the rest of the boxes
You still have an equal chance of getting the hits in every box. Superstition
@@sleepyrick Thats not how case hits work

Unless Weiss is COMPLETELY different from most TCG's, then the pull rates denoted on the box remain true

What a blessed video 😍
This is great, but we still don't know of its okay to pick up chicks in a dungeon.
Make sure to open up some Attack on Titan when it comes out! That set will be insane
i bought a few of these today just bc i like the anime, i got a silver signed successor rimuru. might just give the game a shot after that
Weiss content yessssss
Anyone remember when Naruto had a TCG?
Or MHA

All I'm saying the new Slime movie coming out on November 2022😆
Twerking, twerking when I buy the things I like
Dollar, dollars, dropping on my ass tonight
I need a show of Rudy pumping and dumping as a slime in a fantasy world.
Are you willingly to talk about Force of Will? We definitely could use more hype for the game. Would be greatly appreciated 🙏
Hey Rudy, will you be opening any Quintuplets?
He did about 8 months ago.
i like the game

To the MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON🌚
What is “the bimbo boob babe” set??? lol
Thumbs up and walking away take that taco man
Awrite! Weeb Schwars and slime. Sounds like my Friday nights. ( o.o)
slime was good show
Some titles are going to age like a vine, only pro weebs know. Japanese market is underrated, underpriced even more.
Fantastic anime though.
More of this 👍👍 i have some Boxes of madoka and hololive hope they doing good 🤞 kimusuba yes i remember this 😆
I've never played magic in my life... I've never collected magic in my life... Yet I'm here for the most recent upload...
Funnier yet, this isnt Magic.

chalupas + anime waifus = happiness
Oh joy Rudy is opening girly booby cards again
There is nothing meaningful or nostalgic about Metazoo except for all the evil investors speculating on it.

one and done.... until they decide to reprint entire sets.
Hey heeey heeeeeey 😉
Waifu!
Open some Indiana Jones cards he's in Fortnite so it'll sell out
Yugioh is ass anyway, you're forgiven Rudy.
Man you want hard to get, try and get hololive cards
The market isn't to blame for Weiss' crash. Only weebs play this game. Nobody else plays, collects or invests in this crappy game.
