Note : I mispoke about the Kingu card, it only buffs him 500 per each characters in the category. But yea this was just an example. Again I recommend these ways to START deck building and having fun, its not meant to go into the nuances of what's "meta' or or competitive. I'm making this video to show newer players who want to get into the game how to build decks while starting off rather than having to beg someone else to make a deck for you. Once you get this part down, you can tweak the decks as you go along ! Hope this helps
One thing to note, when you choose a series like a anime for example, you have to keep it within that series, you cannot combine sword art online with any of the fate stuff as another example. As for as building a deck goss, encore decks site is a good site yes but, you can also use decklog to build decks too. Plus, it can relate cards that have a certain name or climax within it's effect and or events etc.
That is a great tip about decklog ! I personally never liked using it before since it doesnt seperate the cards by levels and just puts it into a pile. But I really do like how you can search effects by name like climax combos and it will show all the cards that have the text. I hope someday bushi updates decklogs so it can seperate by levels , if so I think id migrate completely over from encore lol
I'm glad it helped ! Remember to just have fun, honestly forget about all the complicated terms, all the "meta" decks. Choose the characters you want to play and just have fun with it, I made the guide because I'd find it really boring if everyone just played Mushoku because it is "meta" or whatever else is most popular. Because what's the point if you're not having fun !
Yea ! I love all the wild silly decks we could make. Most of my joke decks all kinda crash and burn though , I have a cult deck from Mob Psycho and a Bettleguise deck from Re:zero and both equally are as bad haha.
Peanut Butter Panda Puffs go hard. God tier cereal, no cap. Having fun is definitely the way to go with games right? Not really a game if you're not having fun lol. I want to make a Silica and Yuuki SAO deck since they are my favorites. Not sure if they'll do well together but it'll be fun trying lol. The video helped a lot. Thank you very much!
I'm glad it helped! I think deck building feels really daunting but once you break it down it definitely feels way more manageable to start and then you just fine tune it after playing !
@@peanutbutterpandapuffs I like that you used the term "fine tuned". I specifically remember hearing that term in the Yu-Gi-Oh! dub lol. TCGs are great.
You can only run a maximum of 4 copies per card unless it states specifically that you can run more. An example is the Level 0 Maruyu from Kancolle set 2, which states that you can run as many copies of it as you want. These types of cards are called Army cards. They are typically level 0 or level 1.
Ah yes ! I think i saw this recently as well too with some other niche card I think it was the stormtroopers from the star wars set that lets you run as many as you want lol, I wonder if theres any decks that can make use of novelties like this while working
@@peanutbutterpandapuffs Heaven's Feel 2 released a similar card called Shadow Children. To me, it's main purpose is to deal with level bombs in the early game by giving itself and two specific Sakura cards +1 level and +500 power times each copy of it on stage, but it makes them susceptible to anti-early play bombs and back-ups later in the game. So while it sounds fun to play, I wouldn't recommend using more than 10 copies per deck.
🤣 almost makes me feel like trying some sort of meme deck for the fun of it , makes me regret not picking up those hf2 playsets when nobody wanted them
I plan on buying HF and HF2 whenever and wherever I can find them. But in the meantime, I am thinking of clearing out some sets that I am no longer interested in buying into or playing with. There is an anime conventon coming up in my city next weekend, and I do plan on attending, which will allow me to perhaps clear out some stuff.
thats very true, I didnt realize that i was subconsciously building a lot of my decks with 4 of all climax interaction characters, but yea mainly xD was hoping to just doing a simple get started guide so people arent afraid of just building their own decks, cause at the end of the day its about just having fun in tcgs and itd be kinda boring if everyone just copied each others decks and whats meta lol
@@peanutbutterpandapuffs I tried to make RWBY decks that aren’t meta especially the green and yellow kinda cool and looks fun. But Doubt it can place top 8 hahahaha.
@@wolfsong5356 yea for me honestly no matter what game i've played I never really liked playing what was "meta". I always enjoyed deckbuilding because I like just building fun things and seeing what works especially when it comes to like themes and characters I like the most
Depends honestly, I would say Fate Camelot is VERY cheap to get into. The more expensive ones are heavens feel and unlimited blades. The sakura deck you could probably build without the expensive cards and just use cheaper alternatives, but I totally get it, its the same reason why I never made that sakura deck haha
people do play it ! else i guess they wouldnt keep releasing sets haha. Definitely a different type of community for weiss I think, as opposed to poketubers which is all hype/investment and "value" pack openings. At least for now weiss isnt as cringey ? lol

what do you mean coletions ? If you mean different animes, then no. You cant mix the sets. Outside of certain specific ones like Season 1 - Final of AOT, Fate grand order etc. Mixing animes in like official gameplay is not "allowed" If youre playing with friends of course you can do what you want. But overall most sets are similiar enough that it shouldnt matter too much . Most card effects are pretty generic like brainstormers, climax combos

General rule I think is 3 of each card unless it’s the card that has the climax combo. And events are like situational I think. Then tweaking
