Rudy doesn't get it, Weiss is anime properties with millions of fans and 1000's of new fans everyday...thus steady sales on 1 to 2yo product will definitely be the case. Magic the Gathering fan growth is stagnant compared to new anime fans. These kids becoming anime fans are going to buy Weiss before Magic. Manga dominates American comic sales, it's not even close. Magic has more fans than Weiss but this Weiss stuff will just continue to grow fans more than Magic and Pokemon especially with smaller print runs, they want that certain property and it's 3 years old thats all they want. Mtg and Pokemon doesn't create that. Anime/Manga sells.
Nothing is beating Pokemon long term.. i'm not a big fan of it but nothing is beating it..there will always be a market for vintage Magic since most of the guys into it are in there 30's and 40's so there will always be money pumping into it, modern Magic is trash now..Weiss will have minimal growth forever and i don't care about Metazoo or FleshNBlood.
@@michaeledwards1644 I agree overall for new/current block stuff. I'm talking about specific anime properties that Weiss had printed...new fans wanting a 2 year old set will happen most with Weiss stuff, Pokemon and Magic growth is current block stuff. This older Weiss stuff will be non existent soon enough because of new Slime fans or whatever 100's of anime that Weiss previously printed.
What about dragonball? I think it’s better then Weiss but Rudy never talks about it! The artwork is much better then Weiss and the game play is getting a reboot with fusion world!
@@FaithFoundry i dont know about Dragonball.. the only card games i've actually played were WarcraftTCG,MTG,Yugioh and Final Fantasy all of which are better to play than Pokemon,Weiss ect..

I agree. Not as familiar with Weiss, but as far as Pokemon goes the games that this block is based on sold the most copies since the og, giving it great intermediate to long-term potential.

I don't play Weiss, but I do collect. Rudy does not understand that sets prices are based on either Girls buying or cards that play well. Some sets will never be worth anything because the cards in the sets are ugly or the cards are like Dragon Maze playability.
