Had one for a year and must say for the money id put it against anything else in the price bracket. When you look at wheat you get 5 top kits a cupping kit and a holdall that's worth having to the point people are now selling them on. If you invest in a short 3 it makes a massive difference at range and turning the shallow rig over at 14.5 a doddle Response top kits fit, and this is handy as spare top kits are like rocking horse pooh The only downer is the Superium margin is spun on the x50 70 90 mandrel so the sections don't fit the X10 20 and 30 so with that in mind I got the Monster Margin 10.5 which again for less than 200 sheets is a steal I regularly fish opens and all who have waggled it are surprised at the price Well done preston on an amazing bit of kit

J love preston but my down fall with their poles is lack of stock when buying topkits and im not a fine of the cupping kit and the fact the match kit isn't already pre drilled but i must say these poles look a massive improvement on previous models.
I'm in the market for a pole soon, I'm just a pleasure fishing man at 55 , would you say this would suit me?. I've just got the presentation Edge monster and very happy with it thanks to your review on it👍. One question I would ask preston people is , why the hell do they not give you a tube for the top kit inside pole🙈🥵. Great video again
@@Angling4U Well I don't realy fish commercials , club waters at mo really. I've been out of fishing for 30 years, back then there wasn't f1s or decrons lol. So all a bit new to me again.

Could you do the superium carp please no one has a pole alley near me to test out and don’t fancy shelling out 1500 for a heavy wobbly pole as there’s no weight details to any of them

Hi Ben quick question regarding poles is there such a beast as a 13m pole thats just realy decent to use at 11 meters,i have had some decent poles in the past but i only fish 11m maximum for silvers but everything seems geared to carp and 16 m poles these days budget around 5 to 6 hundred.

One of the lads had a new X70 down the club lake on Xmas Eve. If you need a pole that you regularly fish 16m with then you will need to up the budget and look at the X70. Even the X70 went a little at 16m.

The pro type is the worst pole that Preston have ever made.

Not sure I would have to look it up online. I can say its not heavy at 13m not that bad at 14.5m heavy at 16m as expected for this money

I would put 8 in the match kits hollow
hybrid in the f1 kits 8 to 10 or 10 to 12
Carp kits hollow or hybrid some 12 to 14 some 14 to 16

Stick with the 501 map mate as kits fit

I love the Map but x30 for me. But the map also is excellent. Purely based new carbon tech. as map 3g around 3yrs old
