Very nice Seatbox, but still I want a point of attention. Always think it's a pity that the impressions of the screw remain behind on the extension legs. Now have a matrix with the same proplem. extension legs from Rive don't have that problem. they have a nicer system. Maybe an idea for Preston and Matrix. Hope I can say my opinion
Dear Preston, can you promise that the rim under the cushion will not sag, stopping the draw from opening? I love my Absolute 36 and hope that mine is a one of fault and hopefully my new cushion top section eventually arrives will be fault free.
Hi I recently brought this seatbox but I had to return it because it was bruising my thumbs when I was taking the seat and draw units from the main frame I’m really disappointed ive also looked at three others at different shops and they was the same really really difficult to take apart guys
I like the idea of the inner legs nit being able to come out. I unknowingly lost an inner leg from my inception box this summer whilst carrying it so perhaps that idea can be incorporated in all future boxes?
hi there will the locking footplate pins fit the absolute 36 black ? ive had 2 on order since september 12 through angling direct but since the makers moved to brussels still have" nt got them, they do ring once a week but can"t get anywhere with them can you help.
No where near enough space to carry all my bits and reels and boxes etc. Looks like cheap alloy or something too and it’s too plasticy for me are all these modern boxes. Terrible waste of money. These kind of boxes should’ve worth about £60.

2 things... 1 - Will the frame and footplate be available without the units for those already with the drawer units? 2 - The inner legs collars, why not aluminium instead of plastic that breaks easy?
All i hear is smazing design etc... is it for girls? Cause i look sturdy one.. and this footplate pin dedighn clwarly ruins stability.. compared to rive how they pay attention to plate locking, is day and knight, their locking mech is so superior compared to this bilshit pin setup...

Took mine out today and it might be quite trivial to some but noticed the spirit level is wayyy off?? I also agree with somebody else’s comment that the whole unit is difficult to take off due to the bottom 4 mag lok clips. Luckily these aren’t deal breakers because it’s a nice box just a bit dissapointed. It’s also very heavy but it’s stability makes up for it.
I bought a swivel seat for mine, which is great but my only vice is when I take the normal seat off I lose the shallow drawer as you cannot remove this from under the seat…….. 🤔
So it's just about same as last version with a few "rock solid" marketing tweaks, suggesting previous version was not up to the job. Oh, and a few hundred quid more expensive, so it must be better 😮💨
The inception station already has the removable top, that's nothing new. Why didn't they make the footplate a one handed operation similar to other boxes on the market ? I use the inception station so I'm not anti preston innovation with my comments
The Removable top is new to the Absolute range. In regards to the footplate, our locking pins are proven to be reliable which is why we continued to use them on this model :)
Love them and just wish that I had the budget for one

It doesn't come supplied with the adapters, you will need to order the Absolute ST Shuttle Adapters for it to fit perfectly

I have the inception station added the absolute deluxe seat perfect now

My footplate isn't steady as a rock,pins aren't long enough and its slipped out when I stepped on it,other than that its great

Still making the cheap inner legs that leave marks every time it’s tightened up looks horrible especially at 700 quid or more
The seatbox may be the dogs,but the inception chairs are rubbish i have had three of them and they all broke on the front crossmember!!!.

I'm afraid the frame isn't available separately. The plastic collars have proven more than strong enough during the testing phase.
