The quality of these videos are better than most UA-camrs with hundreds of thousands of subscribers. I like how Alberto puts so much effort into making his videos.
spent 2 days to be able to make this video
thats a great compliment thank you :)
2 days well worth the content bro! keep it up!
Breh. I was just trying to be honest
rob killa agreed
Whoever has a e36 is lucky cuz you got a bad ass mechanic teaching you shit allll day !!!!!
You put so much time into making these videos and showing every detail and explaining why you are doing what you are doing I love it keep killing it man!
I'm a new E36 owner, and while I'm mechanically inclined, stuff like this can be a godsend. I've been dreading the wheel bearings, but that tool kit looks to be what I need. Thanks for the upload!
Your hard work is paying off Alberto. You have traveled a long way to get to this point of detail and excellence. Very proud.
YAY BIGBOOST TIME. massive shoutout from Australia. love your videos mate
These videos are sooooo good! It's really good to watch someone that's a legit mechanic, sick of seeing these other guys take shortcuts on everything they do
I’m just revamping my e36 bmw and this saved me so much time in figuring out the steps and what to expect. Thank you for sharing this.!
Big boost. Your vids are top notch. I love how much I learn from watching. Before I found you and Adam I knew NOTHING about cars, but now I feel like I could build my own (but not just yet, I'm still broke 😂)
Dont stress yourself buddy we love your vidoes wether you upload everyday or every week
Excellent DIY! I've done this several times on my 335 and made a couple mistakes ruining the bearings by pulling the race through. Great job detailing and explaining how to properly is that bearing tool/kit. I'll be doing this on my E36 M3 eventually so this was a great primer. Oddly satisfying watching everything go together so well. Thanks, Big Boost.
That was a good vid Alberto! I enjoy watching your videos, because they are entertaining and very informative. You explain step by step and it is helpful to a person like me who is a "do it yourself" type of person. Keep up the good work! Also it's good to see the progression of your car! I'm excited for you to get back behind the wheel at the track. Can't wait to see you and Adam doing some tandems! Congrats BIG BOOST!
I just bought my first project car (92 TT 300ZX) and I'm no mechanic. The videos Alberto puts together are amazing. so informative and detailed. please keep doing what you are doing man. The level of detail and explanations is what we need. or its what I need lol.
The fact that you are so humble and appreciative is part of what makes your videos so good to watch. Been watching since day one, keep up the good work!
💪🏻🙏🏻
Alberto this video was so entertaining that I really sat here and watched it from beginning to end, great content.
Tools and work area are so clean looks like operating room greatly enhances visionary experience. So well done and presented.
Alberto is my favorite automotive tutorial channel
Alberto BIGBOOST Looks like your E36 is coming along nicely, brother! Can't wait to see it doing some sick drifting! Excellent content! :D Have a fantastic day and be safe!
Alberto, this is your best vid yet!
I love how your inner hub just conveniently falls off and you don’t show how to even remove it you just move to the next step
i felt robbed! lmao
@@nicksinishtaj8518 Did mine this weekend and I had to Dremel it off. Goodbye dust shield as well.
I love how much detail and care you use while working on cars really inspectional
💪🏻💜
Keep up the good work. Fellow Puertorican subscriber here!
🙌🏻
Awesome. One of your best videos yet. Almost like an episode of Aaron Cake.
Great , helpful video Alberto !!! On my 1994 had to wrap the inner CV boot with aluminum foil then butane torch for 90 seconds at the perimeter of the diff output flange to CV mount then use Ryobi 18V , up to 600 ft. lb. impact set on high (3) to break each E12 bolt loose. And had to torch around the splined shaft junction with the outer wheel hub to get a 5 inch bearing separator to break the hub loose from the splined shaft. I guess in 28 years the parts really like each other.
Good video man. You killed it. A lot of info for those who need it.
Hey big boost thanks for the video, theyre always awesome
Came across this video and liked it quick. He was detailed and I'm that type of person that needs to have a step by step or my brain will not function properly 😅.
Idk much on mechanical car stuff but I think his videos will help me learn.
Alberto was funny and I subscribed so hopefully I see more 😁.
Thank you sir.
Keep it up big boost Love the videos I learn do much
As always Big Boost makes it look so easy 👍🏻
he has BIG BOOST
Hello Alberto!! Very good job on the videos!
you saved my life 😂 luckily i came across your how to video!
nice job. lighting and audio were great. editing ditto. content also great. I've not had luck with slide hammer on some cars; made a jig to pull it out....
I didn't read all other comments, so maybe a repeat...
you can make the bearings and hub go in more easily (I note you didn't have much trouble) if you put them in the freezer before installing. the races shrink a bit. it will warm up quickly after install. then, the hub is colder/ smaller, and it will go in more easily into the inner race.
This is the same idea as heatin the ring gear on a flywheel to make it expand for removal, heating nuts, etc.
Also, my BMW race engine builder buddy yelled at me for using too much loctite...one drop covering 3 threads, then use another stud to smear it around the threads of both. Don't have any proof, but he's been doing engines for a long time.

I love these car videos plz make more
Great video Alberto!
that was cool thank you its a very informative vid keep up the good work
your how to videos are amazing do more like this :D
I’m lovin this video a lot of useful info
Great content as always dude.
Just a quick tip, you can stick a screwdriver in the vent of the front rotor and let it rest against the caliper carrier while tightening the studs. It will decrease the risk of scratching your wheels.
That spider at 5:47 means it's time to get rid of the car😂
Very helpfull bro ! i need to get that tool myself.
Thanks!
Alberto you can use a long bar or screw driver next time to hold the hub in place when your tightening your studs on the hub keep up the good work man i wanna see this thing run at osw soon hopefully my s13 will fine around the same time!
Nice video. Best I've seen
Thanks bro awesome video...
Great videos mate keep it up
Thank you big boost, I have to do the same thing on my brothers e36
Sup bro. Love this car and can't wait to see it drift
Could you post a link to the puller tool and wheel bearing adapters you used? Thanks man! Awesome video!
Your hub was pretty clean, but I've had to use a 3 x jaw puller to remove the old wheel bearing. I would also suggest using a torque wrench to install the nut to 220 ft/lbs. Lastly, for those without an impact wrench, I would keep the caliper mounted, put a thick screw driving in one of the cool vanes, and use a breaker bar/socket to remove the nut
Great video Alberto. You definitely helped me when i was doing mine. I cheated with the Milwaukee though 😂😂. Slow and carefully of course...
Hey alberto, i'm sure you already know this trick for doing axle nuts and such, but throw a thick screwdriver or prybar in the slot in the rotors to jam against the brake caliper so you can tighten down those wheel studs!
Thanks for share your knowlege.
Arecibo Puerto 🇵🇷 Rico in the building!!!
it should be silicone grease on the sliders no?
Very helpful thank you
Wow that's a neat tool need one of those
Well done thank you.
Hello big boost
Cool Car!
Nice vid man. I watched to maybe get some ideas on my E38 the bearing broke inside so theres no where for the puller to pop it out
Started watching and felt deja vu then realized I had seen Chris fix do this in his last video lol great video though
looks great
Hi Alberto, I've been looking for a while now for a suitable wheel bearing replacement tool kit. Which one are you using in this video? Kind regards, Arnoud
Entertaining!
Hey most people don't know this but on the E36 you can actually take out the little bolt pins at the very bottom they have a knot on them and you can do like Jeep doors....
Really great video! Too bad I couldn't get the retaining nut to budge on the kingpin with an extended breaker bra. Gotta get myself an impact gun I guess.
Very cool
What do you recommend for a smooth ride when having coilovera
Good install... the spider stole the show..!! 😂
"Now I'll hit the fast foreword button but without fast forewording" 😂 that was bound to happen because you jinxed yourself by saying it 🙉😂 great vids cause stuff that actually happens to people when working on cars you show, not edited out😎
Mr. Boost would u plz show how to install VTac in the future
Make a video on how to install a catch can
thats doable. i have to get one for my car anyways
Thanks Big Boost
I use a monster energy can as my catch can. tbh it works pretty well.
💪🏻
Hey big boost!!!!! Any pointers on boosting a 2002 trans am ls1
Can you provide the info for the bearing assembly and disassembly tool please?
Alberto!! you forgot to punch in the tabs on the rear center nuts 22:52, very dangerous to drive the car without punching them in. You did it on the front so go do it on the back too. But other than that it's a great video as usual :)
What did you mean by punch in?
Big boost! Will you be running a duel caliper setup because BMW e breaks are notoriously rubbish?
I will be doing a dual caliper setup yes
Cool tool
I feel you on hating to install wheels on BMW and volvo! and I think Saab? There's a hanging tool that comes with the car, but who's got time for that?!
Where did you get the bearing tools? I'm in California building an e36 and need to do the wheel bearings.
Where can i find studs like that? I have a 2014 jetta
Hi bigboost
Wow huge help this will be my first time doing a wheel bearing on the rear I was a little stressed out Wont lie but now I think I can do it but anyone knows where I can buy all the parts for he's using and tools plz lol
Who agrees she should make a lot of car videos
do you have the brands of the bearings, hub and studs? thanks
Where did you get the bearing removal/install tool?
How do I get that3/4 46mm socket to work with a 1/2 bar like he did?
Secondly, we didn't actually see any removal of the rear bearings, it came out pretty easy.
When are you going to start the s15
Alberto what's your opinion on reusing cotter pins. Should I? Or buy more?
replace when you can.sometimes they can become brittle on the part where it was bent and just fall off
The piece of candy cracked me up because it remind me of Family guy XD
Great video. Show a rear wheel bearing too
Alberto why aren't you using a dssr?
You should put a wilwood 4 piston set up for your brakes
Hey guys, I'm just getting into cars and I'm thinking about getting an e36. Any suggestions on the process? I'm definitely thinking about putting a turbo in it at a later date but for the time being prob gonna do the "ricer" mods first. Any tips help.
and people that have tools -> lots of em haha XD
It's lit
'Ooh, piece of candy' - ha! 😆👍
I like the way he says BMW he pronounces the W funny it's just a Hispanic thing if you guys know what I'm talking about lol
opinions on evos big boost?
where did you buy your wheel studs for your BMW ?
Awsome
Already couldent sleep now i have some entertainment atleast👌
Where you get the shifter and handbrake set up
