Piper and Nick Valentine both seem to have the best dialogue related to the institute since both their quests revolve so heavily around it

Most of the dialogue in FO3 and FNV led to the same lines, it’s a Bethesda staple.
Old Fridge fallout 3 yes, fallout nv no in new Vegas most of the decisions have a consequence to the end and to the different factions, for example if you kill certain persons you wouldn’t get available certain missions and that probably can affect the end
F animation No, I’m talking about the lines in the beginning of the quest. All of the things that you say will lead to the same exposition, then the obligatory ‘Will you accept the quest?’ Then there’s the No, Yes, caps please and maybe a recap. Then once accept there’s mission objective (most likely clearing out an area that can maybe be bypassed by skill checks) and maybe an optional objective like siding with the other people or maybe that comes up later on, like after you cleared out the area. Then there’s a big moment that ends the quest and you see what happened in the ending slideshow. I’m not saying it isn’t good, but saying Uga Buga Bethesda simple Obsidian smart is stupid and completely undermines the other good games in the Fallout series.

+Angelo Luna Railroad doesn't have manpower, and neither do the Minutemen, to fight the endless army of Synths for too long so they have to blow it up before it's too late. Even the Shut Down you activate only shuts down some of them. BoS though... well, they could have won, but Maxson has, contrary to popular beliefs, too much Lyons in him and probably decided it was not worth the risk
+Jerec 12 Railroad does not fight for Synths, but for humans that are not treated as such. Aka, they don't care about Synths as a race, but as humans... though I don't think they do that either or they wouldn't manipulate them into getting mem-wipes. If you want to fight for Synths as a race, you have to go Institute and believe that your SS will give Synths better life (or that Institute will create so many of them that they'll be able to create their own nation)

Bit (a lot) late, but I love when you do the Treasure Hunt and bring Preston with you, he sounds so damn happy
I love how Codsworth is the only companion that will speak the raw truth about the factions minus the Minutemen
I can imagine him setting up some beers for his fellow companions, Preston and Piper having only a shot glass, Strong with a pot with a bent down handle, Cait, Handcock, Deacon, and Macready having straight bottles, however Nick pouring his out in respect for those who could've been great but died in action, and Danse joining him anyway. But X6??? He'd be like the quiet kid in the corner, Curie keeping him company of course. As for Gage and Longfellow, they'd probably arm wrestle and whoever loses each round would get a shot of an alcoholic mix of Vim-Nuka-Quantum. As for Ada...she'd come up with repairs for the Mechanist factory, you could have the place changed up in certain ways, like luring Raiders/Gunners into chambers to turn them into test subjects, only by the protagonist's choice. :|
Anyway, Codsworth would mourn over the son that Nate/Nora had lost, and perhaps the others would follow suit.

Fun fact: The only ending where Mama Murphy says humanity will be saved is the Institute ending.
The problem is that saving humanity from the view point of the institue means destroing it for everyone else.Replacing humanity with a bunch of robots is not saving hukmanity.

I wonder how it "helps humanity" to abduct innocent people, turn them into super mutants, experiment on them, and then set them back loose onto the commonwealth so they can kill and eat people. When you're actively reducing the number of humans by turning them into mutants and then setting them loose to kill more humans, you're doing the OPPOSITE of saving humanity.

Not to mention the Institute's completely contradictory philosophy. How can synths be "mankind, redefined" if they don't even consider synths to be anything more than machines? My problem exactly with this game. Everyone knows everything, a lion, a plane, an airship ? How do they know these things ? so unbelievable. Do you remember the boomers talking about the plane in new Vegas. That was a real wasteland.

It is bigger, you can see when you infiltrate inside the Institute. That you see in 1st person looks small but when you look from far distance it is big.

Or you could go as railroad and destroy both the institute and the brotherhood.
The scientists that survived could just go to Big Mountain (BIG M.T) and continue their research there easily.
Hearing some of Prestons longer dialogue makes me realize that Preston just doesn't get a lot of dialogue in general. I think here and when you meet him is when he talks the most.
And so the Sole Survivor destroyed the Institute and for the first time in years a sense of peace was brought to the Commonwealth. The people rejoiced that their greatest threat, their "Boogeyman" was behind them and though it would take years of hard work and rebuilding they would make the Commonwealth their home again.
The next morning however Diamond City Radio received a report that a mysterious flag had been placed on the ruins bearing a ring of stars with a capital E in the middle...

The flag is an emblem for the Enclave. I won't go into details but I will say this: if that does happen in Fallout 4 the Commonwealth just got a more dangerous foe then the Institute ever could be.

Nobody except x6 likes the institute because they have done nothing except spite the commonwealth to the point where even raiders are held in higher regards.
And Curie hates both the institute and the brotherhood because they are inherently selfish organization's that hoard knowledge and care little for the people of the commonwealth.

Sorry but the people above still live well enough without the institute, they can grow their own crops without the inst, they can make purified water without the inst, they actually thought about uniting into one and rebuilding their home but then the institute sent a synth to kill all the representatives.
I can go more and more about why the inst is the true evil not even gray.

Can't see why people think they're Nazis? They think they can decide who has the right to life. Just compare the Brotherhood in 3 and 4. Lyons wanted to help people in the capital wasteland, not just collect technology. But the ghouls in underworld still would'nt dare to leave the building, because the Brotherhood shot them on sight, feral or not. I'm not that against them, because I think they have a point, but I can see why other gamers hate them

It’s just if you do the railroad line and leave X6 behind you never actually get banished from the institute, and I guess they left in an Easter egg rather than add a second hostility flag to X6

@@vboi5697 Wasn't a tactical nuke, but an underground nuclear reactor that you, ironically, help the institute to restore and power up. While they are similar, a nuclear bomb and a nuclear reactor are 2 different things, with the latter not being purpose build to destroy things, BUT can and was used like that here. It being underground limited the destruction to the institute only, hence there is a huge hole in the ground. Had it been above ground, all the surrounding buildings around the CIT would have been destroyed as well

Fun fact: if you finish with the minute men and visit the prydwn than the knights and soldiers will say,” huh I didn’t expect the minutemen to be capable of something like this” or ,” should’ve been the brother hood who got to defeat them” and the best one is,” as controversial as it is I’m glad you did it with the minute men to avoid brother hood casualties” it’s actually pretty funny to do that
