Fabulous slot red. Always love a good topwater hit! thanks for sharing the trip. I confess I am very timid in windy conditions. That creek looks familiar to me. tight lines. Aaarggh.
Thanks! I call that a multiplier. It’s cool to catch a fish. It’s awesome to catch it on video and hear that drag scream. But having a fish blow up on your own home lure… it’s 3 times as awesome!
Actually Gordon, I caught my first fish on my first homemade spook at your spot. I know that it's not your spot, our friend Anthony showed me that spot, but he also introduced me to you there, so I always will remember that as your spot on the Milwaukee River. Thanks for watching Gordon!
Thanks! My go pro fogged up on some of the footage. I’m thinking it’s my circular polarizer letting in humidity. I may ditch it. I watched your Smoky Mtns video and I can say the same for your skills.
@@SteveOllice you running a polarizer on your drone or just the go pro ? I have one on my go pro to stop the ghosting and thank you feel free to comment whenever .
@@DougieBFishing my son sometimes uses an ND filter on his drone to capture motion blur in bright situations. He grew up in video games, so I leave the flying to him. I just use the polarizer on the go pro, trying to take the sheen off the water or see trough it. I’m thinking it doesn’t work well for such a wide angle and it changes your exposure depending on the direction you are facing.
That is exactly where I am focusing on for the next month and a half! Do you have a kayak setup? Let me know when you will be up that way and maybe we can meet up.
@@troypope760 I was racking my brain cause your name sounded familiar! I love that place and if I lived close by, I would probably hang out like you were. Please go to my website www.steveollice.com and send me your contact info via the bottom of the about page page. I've got a great spot on the south side that we can meet up,

AAAARRRGH!!! The wind sounded worse than it actually was. Plus it only lasted a small time. Don't let it stop you from getting out there!
Awesome video !

We need to set aside some time. Let's plan a trip, somewhere fun!

@@SteveOllice i can only imagine. I need to try making some one day
Love the top water video. I bet that lure would work good in the river for bass and pike. Keep up the good work.
