Great tractor and pictures. A lot of commitment.
I have so many questions.
I would have preferred some captions or narrations in stead of the noise which I muted.
Great choice for music!
Enjoyed the video, muted the noise, would much rather listen to the machinery.
Gerry Wittenberg Difficult to have sound in images.
Much better w/o the head banging music!
You guys did an awesome awesome job building that tractor 👍👍 not many guys are set up to build one from two frame rails!!!
Nice job guys👊
only way to get that outa a cat is alcohol 😆 neat build kill the music
russell379x lol. I was wondering the fuel type too. Looked to have a distributor sooooo... it sure. Maybe meth? Alcohol ? If so. Man. I bet that thing is a beast.
It sounds so much like a blown alky hemi!! These thugs are always so top secret it’s cool to finally see under the hood
Of all the legendary Cat engines that have been made. Really a 3208.
My thoughts exactly lol....if they wanted a v8 cat they should have built up a 3408, but maybe its to heavy....impressive numbers they got out of one of those turds tho.
@@jimbo8v92 there hanging weights on the front i assume there not worried about weight.
@@jameswest673 i think some (or all) pulling class' have a weight restriction. being the motors not all the way up front if they ran a heavier engine they wouldn't be able to hang as much weight on the front to keep the nose down if it was needed.
I’d say the reason they didn’t go with a good ol 3408 is because depending on what class they are running the motor can’t exceed a demented cubic inch like 640ci . The 3408 is 1000cu while the 3208 is only 636ci. I want to do the same thing but with a 3306b instead of a 3406b once again because of the class I would be in. The 3306 is 641 while the 3406 is 893. It all depends on the class requirements.
@@kowboy.kez359 now your talkin' 3306
I bet you’d pick up a couple hundred HP by getting some decent exhaust manifold to replace those logs
There’s some hours gone into that build. Looks and sounds the part. Time to go and enjoy pulling👍
Ruff stuff this is a crazy build i love it. All the comments about the music, so what. I didn't mind the music one bit. But a 3208 cat running a distributor awsome. As my Dad would say. ""Thats using your head for more than just a hat rack"" awesome keep it up
Also looked like maybe a water to meth or alcohol fueling setup, definitely cool if you ask me, and I couldn't give a shit about the music either honestly.
Thank god for volume control
Wow...you are very clever.....I never imagined the tractor chassis was so complex...what a amazing job
Looked like I seen some crank driven top fuel alcohol pumps, and a distributor, now if you ask me, that's cool as heck for a cat motor, mad props to the builder 🙏🏻
- Å fan! 👍
Fire the band and as for the tractor...cheque please...🤟
2:40 welcome to the hydraulic press channel !
LMAO!!!!
Zelfs de verfstiften zijn op kleur. 😛💛
Zeer mooi, echte bekwame mensen! TOP
Totally awesome watching the way the tractor was built also very great music.
Very nice rig!! She ain't a cheap sport!!!🤪
Nice build, music was way to over whelming.
custom main caps and girdle nice 🤘
Interesting look at what goes into your tractor. How many acres per hour can you plow? lol
Be alot cooler if you toned the volume and type of music down..
I would love to see more on the 3208 build and where you sourced some of the materials.
J Z there is more coming! Subscribe to keep updated
Dang that's going to be a bad ass tractor still love my jd 😁🤗😉😀
Prachtige machine
Echt vakmensen
Ik ben vanaf nu fan en blijf jullie volgen
Hopelijk weer eens naar een wedstrijd waar jullie meedoen
Zal wss Lochem worden
Dit monster dan eens live horen zien en voelen 💪🏼👊🏼👍🏼
Good vid' but some subtitles would have been good ......
I have mixed feelings, I don’t like the fact that it’s gas, but it is sick as fuck that you had turned a 3208 cat into a gas engine, the time, effort and planning would be crazy! So 11/10, would root for that bad bitch if I were to see it pulling, good job!
Alexander Niemi thank you sir
This is my dream ☺️🚜🤠
Hello, can you explain what modification ypubdid tonthe piston at 4:16 ?? Why did you cut a spiral around the pistons top ????
Certainly don’t need the crappy noise, also muted!
Nice Doku 👌👍
Pulling Team Kaiser thank you!
Does this thing work like a normal tractor?
Music sucks, stopped the video. 0:47 becasue it gave us both headaches.
Michael McClure turn down the volume like someone with a brain?
What kind of clutch do you use, is it a type like NHRA with controlled applied torque or is it like a standard triple plate.
Horrendous "music"
Is there going to be a video made of this one tractor in action pulling or is there already one made I would love to see a video of it
I have been to 1 tractor pull in my life and I loved it I am a kid from where there are lots of farm so I love all tractors but when it comes to these pulling tractors they are very impressive to see in action.
Was pretty interested in watching till the video started then the crap music really a little narration explaining all the work you did would have been priceless i stopped watching after a min
That's really interesting that it's got a distributor is that because it runs on alcohol now? Also do you have to add a throttle body? I didn't see one in any of the pictures but that doesn't mean it's not there. Awesome video wish it was more video explaining some of what you're doing.
It’s also interesting how it has a distributor but it’s a diesel
No throttle body, it's still direct injection but the alcohol needs help getting lite when cold, after its warmed up and building boost it's running off it's own compression by that point
enjoyed the video after i found the mute button !DAMN
Nice job
I know you have no idea who I am; but, I'm trying to build up a cat 3208 myself and I was wondering if you still had the drawings or cad files for the bolt on intake ports?
The engine build interestes me. Is that a distributor I see on a diesel engine?
I think, this is a water-cooled engine. Where is the radiator?
that's cool I allwase won't ed to bild a ager king case pole tractors one of those white culerd tracktors
Wie heeft de kappen gespoten? Jullie zelf?
Loose that damn noise---a little narrative would've been appreciated cause looks like some first class craftsmanship.
Zit die turbo nou in een watergekoeld huis?
Question how much does it weigh after it's fully built.
Great build. It may sound dumb, but a distributor on a diesel? Noob question I know...
8:47 and 16:47 for anyone that wants to hear it
The music sucks would have been nice to hear you speak about what is going on during the video and it is crazy to see spark plugs on a "diesel" I know it is methanol or alchohol I forget
I fail to see where all the money comes from for this..
People need to chill about the music. Who cares if it isn’t your favourite new pop single or techno remix, everyone should be able to appreciate different genres. It’s like religion; you don’t strike someone down for believing in something, simply because you don’t want someone striking you down just because you believe in something.
Never seen a 3208 gas.
Is there anything that can be done to a 320hp 3208 marine engine to improve performance still burning diesel fuel?
Have you had any luck to your search??...from Wyoming USA 🔫🤠🇺🇸
Yeah, they'll go over 400, but you need to O-Ring seal the heads ( gaskets ). Custom pump and about 32PSI off the turbo ...
@@billallen4793 not really I know the marine versions get up to about 400hp. My 3208’s are marine 320hp versions. I did find some billet turbo wheels that are supposed to fit in the stock turbos but I’m not sure what effect if any they would have.
Dump the music. You will get a lot more subscribers
Someone was looking for tractor build vid.
This is a good vid!!
Ur tread is facing the wrong way
Damn, those main caps and block girdle lock that bottom end up tighter than a tick's ass!
Can I buy a pair of those exhaust manifolds?
Kill music. Commentary is better. I stopped watching
me too.
Me Too
Me too
Build was good, music not
Who makes this camshaft ??
ShΣtland Jan burggraaf from the Netherlands
No intercooler ?
prolly doesnt need one with methanol
Had to bail ! Music almost made me kill myself barely hit pause in time!
I didnt know that cat had gasoline motors????
3208 used to be diesel, but this is superstock class, its converted to run on Methanol
@@mrcobus86 ok
helo
Which is the song at 2:30, and fuck all these haters, great build guys!
3208 block?
Neil Neil yes! Covered to alcohol motor
@@ruffstuff7613 what do they use when they build the diesel pulling tractors? Cummins?
Neil Neil yeah we did use a cummins motor in our old prostock tractor called White crow but there are so many motors you can use like an internation motor or John deere
Neil Neil ua-cam.com/video/VUqakrPta0E/v-deo.html this is our old tractor
Why do they even call them tractors?
How much hp and tq
Sally Roberts we think around 2200
@@ruffstuff7613 is that a gas motor or both
stop the music
Need a list of all the music
Why does it have spark plugs if it’s a diesel?
Converted to run on alcohol.
We Made from an diesel engine an Ignition engine
They bought a lot of cubic inches at a very reasonable price. By the way they claim to have it set up to burn methanol, NASTY!
The music ruined the video, would rather hear a narration, background noise, or nothing at all.... Not a fan of slide shows either I thought this was going to be informative, not a show off presentation.
I'm
Music is garbage quit @ 0:33
Nice bunch of pictures. Music sucks!
Terrible soundtrack.
Sorry, but this is a total waste of a rare and expensive engine like that. That engine belongs in a work-truck, not a pulling tractor where it's eventually gonna get blown up, as they all do.
3208 is a disposable engine..
@@bradjenkins932 Not even close, bud. Something tells me you know a thing or two about being disposable.
The 3208 is a sleeveless iron block, it's a throw away motor, there truly gutless in stock from unless you had a turbocharged one, in which case it didnt make it to 400k, it's doing the best thing it could be doing right here, getting rebuilt every 7 to 8 passes, it could last years this way
@@charlesyork9556 3208 is a good ass motor. If you use it right, not a 80,000 pound semi motor. Great in a grain truck ,a dumper with like a 12 yard box. Hell the best pumper I ever ran had a 3208 and a 1200 gal.per minute pump. Ran a nurse truck with a 3500 gal tank on it, with the same engine. People expect to much out of them, but for a 10 wheeler they are a great motor. Just got to remember, normally aspirated they only put out 200 to 250 horse. With a turbo,I think they were 300 horse. Never ran one with a turbo, myself, heard they didn't last long turbo charged. The tanker I drove had 550,000 miles on the clock, never rebuilt. We use one as an irragator motor on the farm I work at now. Will sit and run 12\18 hrs at 2100 rpms, and use less fuel and requires less maintenance than the 35,000 bucks JD purpose built motor we have. Just gotta use them as intended.
@@tomcline5631 They did very well in marine applications. Water/water heat exchanger, water cooled exhaust manifolds and water cooled turbos. Anything over about 20 PSI off the turbo and you were doing head gaskets often. The fix is to O-Ring seal. In marine applications they can get close to 450 HP and run all day in sport fishing boats running off-shore.. All the BS about throw away motors is nonsense. But they are not the best BIG truck engine. It's all about thermal management. In trucks they get a lot of heat transfer back from non-cooled exhaust manifolds and turbos. Also in marine applications they get bumped to 2,850 governed speed. In go faster boats the can run 3,200 all day. The bottom ends stay alive, even at those speeds : )
That music was garbage!
Can that satanic music, peeeeuke..and a 3208? Why was all that money on a 3208? Worst engine ever..
