My great grandmother who was born in 1896 in Vienna Austria was my height 5'8 so just like today depends if you are tall or not....love this video thanks so much.

This was good until the myths started being told at 4:45
Only super vain women cinched tight. And the corset did not deform the body - the drawing is exaggerated, models posed to give the body that shape, they used padding, etc.
