Egyptian Scarab Rock Carving

In this video I carve an Ancient Egyptian heart scarab with hieroglyphs.This carving is based off of two different scarabs which I have linked below.
For this carving, I used a belt sander, angle grinder, various grits of sand paper, a Dremel with diamond burrs and a mini pickaxe. Thank you for watching!

Different sandpaper’s are made from different types of abrasive so maybe the reason why the sander didn’t work well is bedside it wasn’t hard enough
