I’m happy with mine we’ve had it 15 years haven’t done anything to it. We did put one new baffle I stand corrected the stove is functioning today as good as the day I bought it.When and if I ever need another woodstove it will definitely be a soapstone the heat comes out of this long after the fire is out is remarkable. Keep up the good work hearthstone

Can you guys take a look at the Esse Bakeheart and make a bigger version for the US market?
That thing is dynamite: it serves as a wood stove but also a cooker, oven and grill too. My problem is that they only have 1 distributor in North America, plus there's no catalytic option.

I have a question...If your home has a total square footage of 1683 square feet would you size a stove as close to that square footage or is it better to go with a larger heating capacity?
