I live in Korea /Seoul too rn and since the corona situation has gotten worse again, i noticed how Koreans began to avoid me even more, especially not sitting or standing beside me in the subway and putting on their masks tighter when me and other Foreigners walk past them or just when making eye contact. And the part with the clubs is so true lol, like pre corona I was at a club called Madholic and there was a huge portrait of 2pac but they nonetheless treated black people like aliens lol. I hope people would be more open and not be this xenophobic towards other ethnicities. Nice video!
I think the corona situation heightened the whole sensitivity around foreigners thing ever more because if you don’t look like the majority of the population, there’s already an assumption that you’ve traveled from abroad through the airport potentially with many strangers that could have also been sick., there was this huge world wide fear of foreigners and travelers during that time

I wanted to ask which school are you guys teaching at Ive been looking at different places to look into… especially schools that have more people working there that look familiar.

A lot of people tend to go to yeonnamdong. It’s a nice are with lots of shops and next to it are the clubs, bars and shopping streets
