My first batch is out of the oven,and hubby has already eaten four.😂. With the batch I could make 12 rolls. I think I goofed up with the yeast as I have thernoeter to gadge heat and it might have been too cool. i used all almond flour since I can't afford CK chicken flour right now. The insides were a little mushy. Might be from half alseep yeast or I didn't roll them tight enough. Hubby says he was dreaming about these ALL day,and they are a hit.
Sounds like it was a success overall...going by how many have disappeared lol. Mine we very soft in the middle, not mushy. You could reduce the water if you like or add 3 more tbsp Almond Flour to firm it up better. I'm so happy he likes them Alicia 😍😍😍
Definitely going to make these next week. Just add some chopped (toasted) pecans, and you have Pecan Spinwheels! My favorite breakfast bite of all time...OMG, thanks, Mel!

awww... shucks. 😢 happy to see this recipe. Sad I had simple dental work go BAD & into hideous oral surgery 😱🤕 last Thur so until yesterday I didn't really know what day it was. Still taking a small amount of pain meds & fair amount of ibuprofen & praying for outcome yet. So one more live missed live... 😢 first 3 days I was sleeping 12 hrs so NOT up by 8am. My regular hours, I stay up til 12-1am routinely so 8am is a bit of a stretch but totally doable when all is 'normal'. 🤨 But since that is only a setting on the dryer 😂 Well... looking forward to seeing how these turn out with CK chicken flour. Though I took a coconut flour recipe & subbed half for CK chicken & they came out very nice so going to do that sub a few more recipes & see if that is my work around as almonds won't work for me. Also may try pecans in place of almonds... I know You have mentioned that but I really wanted the straight chicken to work 😢 So far... I am going to keep trying!! Have You 100% concluded that CK mix of chicken/almond subs cup for cup in ANY recipe successfully?? I'm so sorry to hear that Becky. I hope you're feeling better...truly. Oh wow...I'm so happy you experimented and can use what you like. It just takes figuring out how much coconut flour is needed. I would start off with 180g chicken flour and 90g coconut flour. Then try a recipe and see if I need to add more wet ingredients. Please look after yourself my love 😘

Just curious as to why… if yeast eats the honey, why not just use regular sugar? They will eat that too.
Yes you're right, you definitely can use sugar too if you don't like or have honey. I chose honey because it seems more natural 😊
