Manufacturing should be considered in the ranking of modern naval battles. Just like during World War II, Germany and Japan destroyed ships far below the speed of dealing with manufacturing. The United States does not have manufacturing capabilities. Once two aircraft carriers are injured and repaired, other ships will have to wait in line.

Not really tbh. They technically have 4 large aircraft carriers, which is the most in the world after the US navy, and these will be loaded with state of the art F35s. They also have many advanced destroyers and like the commentator said, the world's most advanced submarines with incredible stealth capabilities. Most military ranking sites have the Japanese navy placed very high currently. The big leap in ranking is a pretty recent development though, from only a few years ago, largely due to the increased threat from China, so it's not too surprising many people are skeptical. Although, even before that, they were still ranking in the top 10 at least.

I guess the setup is in regards of fighting conventional warfare. Otherwise you would have to rank the countries with a nuclear arsenal first, no matter what the conventional Navies are capable of. Regarding Taiwanese Navy to me their equipment looks very outdated and not very capable... so may be another country will take its place.

It is highly questionable to place the Japanese Navy in third place.
Not really tbh. They technically have 4 large aircraft carriers, which is the most in the world after the US navy, and these will be loaded with state of the art F35s. They also have many advanced destroyers and like the commentator said, the world's most advanced submarines with incredible stealth capabilities. Most military ranking sites have the Japanese navy placed very high currently. The big leap in ranking is a pretty recent development though, from only a few years ago, largely due to the increased threat from China, so it's not too surprising many people are skeptical. Although, even before that, they were still ranking in the top 10 at least.

Historically, the earliest recorded government on Taiwan Island originated from mainland China (disregarding indigenous rule, otherwise the United States as a nation would not be valid). If the current “Taiwanese” administration pursues an “independence” path, it could be interpreted as usurping or subverting the ROC government, thus potentially being viewed as a “reactionary regime.”
Two additional points:
1. The United States’ involvement in the “Taiwan” issue stems from its desire to constrain China’s development. The U.S. justifies its intervention based on its role in ending Japan’s aggression through the use of atomic bombs, assuming the position of “world police” and overseeing Japan’s return of Taiwan to China. This is the rationale behind their “meddling.” The U.S.'s continuous erosion of the “One China” concept is seen as disingenuous towards China, a World War II ally, akin to a brother reneging on his commitments, which is deeply unsettling.
2. Japan, as Taiwan’s previous ruling power and a defeated nation in World War II, complied with the surrender conditions to return Taiwan to China. However, the ROC did not complete the final step of the formal handover process. Consequently, Japan perceives itself as having the right to involve itself in “Taiwan” issues, which can be seen as presumptuous and lacking in self-awareness.
