      Eat fruits and vegetables and don’t eat too much sweets because it could lead to heavy flow and could also hurt ur stomach

    I do ginger and cinnamon tea when really bloated and uncomfortable. It works, after a few minutes I will start feeling better .

      Dr Sareeka Physiotherapist just ginger and cinnamon . Lately I been adding a mint tea bag in it and makes a big difference.

    Good tip about the gum, but I wouldn't recommend a sugar free hard candy either. They usually contain sugar alcohols, in lieu of the actual sugars which can cause gas and bloating. Great video.

    Agree with everything you mentioned - I'd add a few more tips - try to eat organic whenever possible - don't use antibiotics excessively - eat whole foods (natural - don't have a 'shelf life' - less ingredients the better - avoid fast food when possible) - avoid large/ huge meals (don't eat until you're stuffed) - try not to sleep lying down after a main meal (like supper) - understand your own digestive capacity (not everyone can eat high fiber foods all the time - if your system isn't as robust as someone else's, it's ok - we're not all the same). Western European diets are good - much less disease over there. One more thing - Americans have to move more - can't stare at phones, laptops, tv's all day & think you're going to feel well - ride a bike, hike, swim, tennis, shoot hoops - enjoy lifelong fun activities - get close to nature - you'll feel better.

    - no chewing gum
    - avoid straws or drink slowly
    - breathe in through your nose and out through ur mouth to avoid air getting stuck in ur stomach
    - avoid sodium bc it retains water (foods may have lots of salts wo u knowing - frozen foods, canned foods, pickled foods)
    - to improve digestion: avoid water 20mins before and 1hr after a meal, hot water w fennel, coriander to help digestion, digestive enzymes from nutritionist/doctor to help digestion, eat fruit ON ITS OWN (not w other foods) bc it’s broken down v quickly unlike other foods

    I had been having bloating problem. Then l took 2 tablespoon of virgin coconut oil twice a day. I've been doing it for 4 weeks now. It works very well, l don't have bloated stomach anymore.

    please do more on digestive. I was always bloated ,feeling half sick ,always reaching for Prilosec. I read the book "Wheat Belly " & was blowin away by the wealth of material. I no longer have that bloating, being nauseated & do not take prilosec any more when I gave up wheat . Have a lovely week !! ( Judy )

    Bloating is so painful and comes with constipation, l tried almost everything but still suffer from them, sometimes I get bloated to the size of a 20weeks pregnant woman.

    Great review. I cringe when I see people eat fruit right after their meal. Even though I eat apples on a VERY empty stomach, I still bloat! What gives?

      Kelly Beechen apples can cause bloating! Especially for certain body types (Vata - like me). I bloat from them too and it sucks bc i LOVE apples

    Something you should also investigate if you have perpetual stomach bloat is a disease called Endometriosis. The inflammation from the lesions in the pelvis, colon or other organs cause woman to have a gut that isn’t normal. So if you feel like you have bloating additionally during hormonal changes this is a symptom of Endometriosis and you need to talk to a specialist to manage it. Excision surgery to remove lesions is the gold standard regardless of what you may hear. The Centre for Endometriosis Care is a great place to read up on causes and treatments. Over 176 million woman world wide have it and don’t get diagnosed for on average 10 years. So if you find you are dealing with stomach bloat regardless of reducing other causes, this may be something you need to investigate.

    Lack of potassium can lead to bloating. You need potassium for lots of things in the body. Btw . . . This important nutrient is a natural laxative but in the right amounts combined with the right amount of sodium & healthy fats. Other causes of bloating could be food intolerances, excessive fat or fiber intake, etc. it’s a long list.i will keep it hear.

    Eat half of stomach and should be take atleast 10mintes, wen u feel hungry. Drink sufficient water, wen u feel thursty. Sleep immediate, wen u feel sleepy.

    When I was in primary school I had a x-ray done on my stomach and you could see all the gas that acculated...then I took a probiotic and it went away, I felt much better.

    I deifnitely (hopefully) think my bloating is caused by eating way too fast. I've been bloated for like 2-3 years which is about the same time frame that I've started eating my meals super fast. I used to eat really slow because I had bad appetite when I was younger. But beacuse of work I started eating really quick at lunch time which followed into my dinner and breakfast as well. Like a month ago I was 49 kg and bloated, now I'm like 47 and still bloated. I'll try my best to slow down eating my meals for a few weeks and see if it gets better. Another thing I do is to drink a lot of water both before and after my meals. I'll keep your tip about water in mind!

    You don’t want to avoid all salt. Excess salt sure, but we do need salt. Another way to reduce the affect of sodium would be to get enough POTASSIUM.

    Would you like to make a video about keratin hair treatment? I've seen several before and after and the hair looks so shiny and straight (mine is wavy, therefore I like the results of this treatment). But I'm unsure if afterwards when the kreatin wore off, if your hair is more dry than before and also the big question if the treatment itself is safe regarding its ingredients. I'd love to see an information video about that 💞😊😊

      It's stupidity. Mostly promoted in California where most are misinformed about human physiology. They are good in films and technologies but when it comes to health they are not science based, more like religious like cleansing stuff which your liver, lungs and kidneys do great job. Mucoid plaque is a myth. They are nice people with good intentions but misinformed. some of them are still healthy, thanks to human body being smart not because of their misguided pseudoscientific rituals. Broscience....just because someone looks good or healthy doesnt mean what they think they do is the cause.... they will stil lok good aand be healthy without those risky or not and unnecessary rituals and beliefs in health

    Hey Dr Mona! Can you do a vid on foods that are 'sard' and 'garm' I really think that key to everything and unlocking all our issues! Growing up, all I heard at home was 'shakamet sardi karde or badanet garmi karde' I really wish I had learnt this earlier! Persian Medicine at its best 😊
