What do you mean? They are not loud enough or just not a fan of them to begin with? I appreciate you stopping by and checking the video out! I bet you are enjoying yours too! Congrats on an awesome addition to your setup. 🤘🏻
Great idea. I was disappointed with the sound of a muffler delete on my 2011 SS. Was great for a couple days, but didn't wake up until the catback. Then the LT headers with high flow cats really got it going. I like the NPP setup on the 6th Gens, just needs some LT headers for perfection imo.
It all depends on how well it is taken care of. I have my 2011 SS modded and all for 10 years and it still runs like a champ. Had stock pulley issue in the first year and had aftermarket stall converter go bad a year after I had the cam/head work. No issues other than that for me and it is at like 64,000 miles. I have a friend with a 2010, has over 200k miles, and wins big best of car shows with his daily. These 6th gens seem to have issues with the oil pumps on the 2018 ZL1s. That's the major issue ive heard of with them. If you got them out of a certain month range of build dates, you shouldn't have that issue. All GMs made around the end of last year and beginning of this year seem to be having lifter failures. Happened to me when I was going to drive mine home with 5 miles on it. These are the major things that I've seen myself.
I have seen people in forums say that they daily theirs, but personally I wouldn't in my area as the roads are terrible. If you are use to the rough suspensions in your area and they are not bad, go for it, but I wouldn't myself. The ZL1 without the 1LE package has magnetic ride suspension and I've heard that is much more forgivable on bumps for a daily driver. My SS has lowering springs that lowered it 1.4" and 22s with almost no sidewall and the ride was rough. The ZL1 1LE feels more stuff than that but it is a full blown track car that can be driven on the street. It hugs curves like no other. I can go much faster in turns because of it and fully confident the car will stick to the road.
@@thesinistercamaro I really like the ZLE... but I bought the GT350R over ZL1 and Hellcat. Maybe next year, when all about the chip outage calm down, I would go for it (but in manual transmission like my R) If you wanna take a look in my IG @Shelby_Snakr ...😉
That's awesome! Congrats! Actually, the GT350 and GT500 are great cars too! I just can't my mind around owning a Ford at this point. Not the name, but to me, just cheap interiors that all look the same and doesn't really wow me as much as a ZL1 (since it is a bucket list item for me after working with the SS I fell in love with). Much respect no matter what anyone decides to get. I checked out your page and man that thing is sweet! Hope we can meet up and maybe get to enjoy a track day battling it out 🤘🏻
This is an update kind of series to document the process. This video was made a while back too. It's been driven and enjoyed a ton since this video. Lots of people want to know different things like going from an SS to a ZL1, the ride on a regular ZL1 compared to a ZL1 1LE, etc. 1000 miles on a car like this is a bit since people are selling them so quick these days. Plenty for sale on Facebook groups where people drive them for 200 miles and sell them for a quick money flip. We are doing way more to this one. 🤘🏻

I have a 2020 Zl1 1lE and to me the OEM pops and crackles are disappointing

@@thesinistercamaro My complaint is I can't hear anything with the windows rolled up
Nice set of LT headers should fix that right up.
do a muffler delete, that get's the party started.

how long do you these these camaros last for? and future problems w them?

You mean it’s not good for daily use car because its so bumpy? How about not having the 1Le package? Is it still bumpy?

I don’t understand…1000 miles is nothing on a car. It means this car is not driven
