I really enjoy your ditch shrimping and crabbing. You will do anything to entertain and I enjoy it very much. Thank you for all that you do for us your viewers.
Love your show brother, brings back great memories with my grandfather when we were kids,we used to go to south padre island and do the same things you did, awesome, keep up the great work.❤
Man. Other than living with a heavy population of people. You guys are living the dream. If I could find coastal areas that are warm and have the low population density like MN and canada I'd be all over it.
As a former resident of St Bernard, one who once lived next door to you, and sat in your father's classroom for a couple of years, I love your videos, however, I am saddened to see the trash all over the bank, there where you were crabbing!
Great video, we did pretty good this past weekend at Rutherford beach , 4 bull reds, 2 sharks and a gaftop catfish. I love this time of year when the weather is starting to cool off and everything is biting. Here's a thought, since crab and shrimp mostly stay on bottom, I wonder if you would catch more with a rectangle shaped net so more area covers the bottom.
Jarad, another great video. Have you ever eaten at Penny's Cafe in Violet? She has seafood buffet on Friday. They make the best hoghead cheese, you have to try it.
I think if you’re net frame was square at the bottom it would work better. Just my thought. They catching shrimp every night out by me in Des Allemands and bayou gauche.
You gotta get out here to the northwest and get after some dungeness crab! Im sure you’d love going after them. So many different ways to get after them
Great content we were in your road side ditch on Sunday and you could catch a shrimp then put it on a bare hook across the street and catch a trout or a bass. Then we went to the pier and cough 200+ crabs great time in the Parish 🐟🍤🦐🦀
Jared, Love your videos buddy. My son and I spend a lot of time in Delacroix and Reggio. We had a duck hunting lease pulled from us because the leaser did not pay the land owner on time. Thought I would reach out to you to see if you knew of any duck leases in Reggio our Delacroix we could jump on? Thanks and I appreciate all you do.
Lol I'm also from St.bernard, I now live in houma, I once gotten a ticket in fouchon for doing the same thing,it was blocking the passage of fish, they said I had to be 15 ft. From the culvert and my net can only be 3ft. In diameter
Watching craps and shrimps being caught can so interesting tho... And yeh, having a camera inside the watrr to see what goes on in there would be good too😂
@@phuongnguyen-ol8lb you just have to pay attention to what he says in the video. He tells you what Highway he is fishing from and you just have to look on google earth. That’s how I found it
I wonder if the dip nets would do better if the net material was black, or green? When you hold the net over the culverts, the crabs and bugs might see the net and try to avoid it. That is if the current isn't too strong and they can avoid it.
So Jealous. I miss home so bad being able to catch all that free seafood. God Bless Yall and Keep Showing how we get down in the south of LOUISIANA. WHO DAT !
@@edwardranno7119 LOL those are not sewage pipes those are drain pipes from one Levy to the other very common in the deep South when high tide comes in it keeps the water from flowing over the roads
Nothing like scooping up your own fresh seafood from the side the road. Good time brother.
that diesel taste is the shrimp and crab boil liquid and not the road side water quality fyi.
Awesome video crab and shrimp cost is high it's a blessing to go get your own groceries in the water in the neighborhood. BEAUTIFUL 🦀🦀🦀🦀 🦐🦐🦐🍤🍤
This is what we louisiana natives do. Fish in the ditch, swamp, bayous, rivers, ponds etc...! Mm good
You got that right!
Texans too especially us with a strong Southern Louisiana background ❤
I really enjoy your ditch shrimping and crabbing. You will do anything to entertain and I enjoy it very much. Thank you for all that you do for us your viewers.

Maybe the community of or the folks that use that place can get together and clean that area.

Man. Other than living with a heavy population of people. You guys are living the dream. If I could find coastal areas that are warm and have the low population density like MN and canada I'd be all over it.
Yes I’d rather live around less people too lol. Canada sounds nice

Old Bay Seasoning, brother. Must use for Crabs
Wow Strange & Effective .
Get some vinyl tubing and cut it open lengthwise and then wrap the net frame rim, it'll help keep that mesh good longer
That was a nice haul
I WOULD HAVE SET OUT A FEW LINES TO CATCH THE CRABS. I LOVE WATCHING THEM PULL.
makes the mouth water...
I just want to drink a beer on the lawn chair and hang out with these guys catching crabs 🦀 😋

Put the gopro on a stick and drop it down there and see what's down there. That would make an interesting video.
I can't wait to break in my new crab nets and snares
Hope you get them
@@OutsidetheLevees thanks ☺️
I need a dip net like that

Amen. Hope you were able to support a local business while here
Someone pointed out to me that the shrimp and crab boil liquid adds a diesel fuel smell/taste and now I smell/taste it every time.
Same with sewer water
YUM
I've caught crabs like that before===she was a red head waitress---so it was a hobby....

Brother, that salad, looks great but all I want is the shrimp and crabs
You and me both!
I always see people on the corner when you’re turning into Ft Beauregard. Could be a good spot for y’all. Looks similar to this spot.
That’s My kind of Salad!
I caught the crabs in Louisiana in 1980
Awesome video! That salad has got to be good!
Louisiana / Texas line the best fresh caught I’ve ever had and takes only an hour
Next Time Can You Do A Creole or Cajune Shrimp Fried Rice. You Cooked Too Many Shrimp For That Simple Dish.

I would luv to come down sometime and do that
What’s the regulations on crab sizes? Catch , size and release?
I found a place to go catch shrimp and crabs just like we’re you were. It’s exactly we’re you were. But it’s an hour and a half drive for me
can u give me location, please
@@phuongnguyen-ol8lb you just have to pay attention to what he says in the video. He tells you what Highway he is fishing from and you just have to look on google earth. That’s how I found it
You should put a large rock in your basket then place it about 8 in the water so your shrimp n crabs are out of the sun
Damn I wish I could do this
25 crab here
Nice catch! Do you clean he veins from the shrimp?

I think a dif color could help. They must be finding ways to get around it
He is dressed for a Wisconsin winter.
Isn't it warm down there?
Do you worry about any pollutants in the water? Just curious 🦀🦀
I’m wondering. That rusty steel pipe in that water Idkk I’m curious too. 😅😂
It's moving water. And black water is the cleanest water around
Don't you think when you're catching shrimp? You would have a bucket there with ocean water in it for them? goes for hardshell crabs too
So Jealous. I miss home so bad being able to catch all that free seafood. God Bless Yall and Keep Showing how we get down in the south of LOUISIANA. WHO DAT !

You should store your catch in a bucket of water
Mane I won't be in this spot for a while now...
Is this location in Louisiana?
That has to be a lot of fun. Another great looking meal...
Curious do Y’all not worry about alligators?
How about fishing in front of sewage pipes??
@@edwardranno7119 LOL those are not sewage pipes those are drain pipes from one Levy to the other very common in the deep South when high tide comes in it keeps the water from flowing over the roads
You need to throw back the smaller crabs
No you don’t
excellent, if it walks, crawls, swims or fly's we we can make a meal out of it..
Great video!!! ? Where can I buy those crab dip Nets from.
I ment to say crab trap nets that you were using to catch crabs in.
Call Ryan Boudreaux (337) 578-0500
