do you mind if i ask what you do for a living? am I wrong to assume it has something to do with mechanics because your videos are the best at step by step on youtube by far. would love to be as good at this stuff as you are
I'm always worried about chaffing on the positive lead. I've inserted the wire into old water pipe for extra insulation or I've also used an on/off solenoid or a 500 amp inline fuse and so on. I'm still experimenting.
25falcons Drive shafts are the long shafts that link the Transfer/Transmission to the Front and Rear axles. When the Jeep is lifted lifted these shafts have to run at sharper angles causing more wear on their joins. You may start to hear vibrations while driving or it could just fail all together. Many people just replace them prior to having any problem to avoid a breakdown.
Thanks guys, this helped a lot. The warn instruction guide is pretty slim and seeing it done makes it completely clear.
I like how you do everything you make it look so easy and so patient know that you have your wife/girlfriend helps you out that's pretty cool
The jeep is coming out beautiful
Good close tight wraps insure the rope won't sink in a cause damage other layers.

Thats the DBox5 it hooks up to the off road lights.
Thanks for watching!
You didn't put a rope stop strap three wraps before the anchor point on your winch... Newbie or Creampuff??
Beautiful Jeep! I'd love to know if those tyres are 35's or 37's?.. thankyou
37's

thank you for your videos it's always best to have some visual aids
What's the white box on your battery, and what's connected to it?
Nice video. What brand/make is the bumper?
TeraFlex makes this bumper. I think it is their RockGuard Epic model.
Sinking down into lower levels of wrapped rope. Causing it to get pinched between other wraps.
Do i really have to go through all this if i want a winch??
Nice job.
You win!
Great Video....
What does 9.5 cti mean
@NEWEREJK Sweet! Is your Jeep the prize? XD
Nice!
nice job except the hook pin should be on the othe side not cutter pin from inside of hook as it can damage the rope on a long term
I am an elevator mechanic during the week and a Jeeper on the weekends.
is that a 4 inch lift on the jeep? is there a major difference between a 3.5 and 4? cant decide for my jeep
Yeah, The TeraFlex 4" suspension kit with flex arms. No big difference, either one you will likely have to upgrade your driveshafts fairly early.
NEWEREJK What are driveshafts? and how will I know when to replace them?

Major difference is 1/2" lift... Duh!
