This video is a good example of *why* he doesn't get cancelled. He says stuff that sounds insane but then backs it up with enough logic that people see his point. And in the end he walks it back a bit and blames himself. Through it all, although he's "angry" and yelling, it's clear that he's not being mean spirited just pointing out the insanity of the situation.
He doesn't hurt people's feelings. He embarrasses the shit out of them by putting their behaviour on display and making an example of them. Shame makes you defensive
Bill Burr is going to be know as one of the greats far after we are gone. He might be harsh at times. But he truly wants people to be the best they can be. His perspective on situations is pure gold!
Divorce culture is a thing in the West. I'm sure it's not as big a deal in Lebanon, but here tons of men lose half their wealth to their wives as the divorce courts 100% favor women.
I think a lot of it has to do with how easy it is to get married in the first place, and the added benefits of being married (i.e. both contractually in terms of receiving company joint-benefits and whatnot, and in terms of filing taxes which can be a bit annoying if you're already living together and have to rely on each other's incomes but can't file jointly) can make it well worth it if you're in a relationship. Combined with the fact that as far as religious diversity is concerned, the vast majority of people don't place nearly as much weight (if any at all) in the religious sanctity of the institution, which has historically been used as one of the primary motivational factors/reasons to get married in the first place; now people instead tend to use divorce as a tool to get back at their disgruntled partners without fully exhausting all of their options to fix their marriages, whereas historically if you were a member of any church, most religions expressly forbid divorce or at least place heavy emphasis on consulting the church's leaders and showing that you've both truly made an effort towards fixing your marriage before either of you even consider getting a divorce. If you're not religious, then there's no reason that you shouldn't get a prenup. If you're religious, you should probably still have a prenup. Basically, get a prenup if the institution you're getting married under allows for it.
My man Bill is a killer! His jokes just work in succession, take one out it doesnt work. Then bam! Punchline! And its a good one. One of, if not my all time favorite comedians
I just found your channel and saw a reaction to Bill Burr and immediately subscribed. I’m currently binge watching all of your comedy reactions. One comedy bit that kinda relates to this subject is - Ron White “dickin around with Tiger Woods.”
Bill Burr: You People Are All the Same, Not sure if anyone let u know that its from that show he did. The full show is amazing. I love how his someone that really gets u to think about the stuff his saying. Not just mindlessly lol at it, he really gets u to think about the context about what his talking about.
One of my old high school girlfriends has been a good digger for most of her life. She's done pretty well for herself. I came out OK because I've never had any money. 🤑
Great reaction. The part where he mentions "That's what the law says" is a hint at why it happens. The law in our country see's 2 married people as 1 person bound by marriage. So any money made by either person in that time is split between them. Because they both take part in the making of it even if the man, or woman, made all of that money themselves. And the power dynamic there is decided by the partnership that goes back to old lifestyles that people today don't understand. It used to be women held the household and took care of that while men would bring home money for it. A real partnership to raise a family in. It is no longer seen like that in today's society but the law is still setup that way.
Burr's material doesn't get old. Just like Carlin's for example. Loved Carol's reaction when Burr was talking about people not caring what happens to men. There are some women who care. But not all, Carol.
Mate you are very lucky to have such an intelligent and caring wife. Love your reactions please keep them coming. I am also equally blessed to have found a beautiful, perfect partner and thank f@@k for that because I’m an ugly bugger. 😁
No fault divorce was the worst thing to happen to society. It made marriage a joke. It use to be really hard to get divorced. Which means you needed to be sure you want to stay with your partner forever. Since then morals have been in a huge decline.
seeing all those guitars makes me think you'd love Lovebites all female Band from Japan that sing in English Lovebites Hammer of Wrath ua-cam.com/video/pHrWRT0Jeac/v-deo.html
Bill Burr is hilarious. Can’t be cancelled. Being really funny may hurt someone’s feelings. He hurts a LOT of people’s feelings. He’s amazing. 😂❤️❤️

It’s Arnold’s relentless pursuit of his goals that made him so successful.
Lmao! Carol, you have an amazing laugh. It's so contagious. Keep up the good work guys!
"Whos Kobe?" I died a little inside
Legit couldn’t make it past 31 seconds
I have noticed we have had this problem since the 1990s
We’ve had this problem since the dawn of man, it’s just backed up now by a modern legal system. Men and women haven’t really changed.
90’s 😂😂😂
S!MP Nation World Wide 🤣
Oh, it was before the 90's. In the 80's Johnny Carson, who was already worth $300 million when they got married, divorced his wife. She got half.
Great reaction. You're both so cool and likeable.

Great reaction.

Ah, the uncomfortable laughs at the truth being told. Thanks Bill.

Carol is extremely beautiful. Just saying.
"Who-errs" is an acceptable way to say it without saying it. :)
That sounds too much like Dr. Seuss.
Your girl's smile is like sunshine and I'm some kind of mold it's burning through me it's too much.😳🥵
Love seeing reactions where women know they got called out and their secrets are revealed.
You 2 need to press pause I your going to speak please
Carol didn't like this too much, Bill is a bit full on sometimes
If I'm not laughing at everything he says, it doesn't mean that I don't like it. I'm just trying to understand his point of view
