Love covers a multitude of Sins... He's correct in saying that after a conference like this we should walk away different. We should be convicted like those on the day of Pentecost saying What must we do... We must look different from the culture by attending a church that looks more like what God wants His kingdom to look like rather than what 1950s look like. We must host conferences which are multicultural rather hosting a black conference with 19 black men and one white men or visa versa. As a child of God our lives should tell the word that we are not conformed to the patterns of this world.
Jar Rar there is a immature believer that must not be forgotten. While many would be delivered from their known sinful behavior like racism, there is a Christian who's eyes have not been completely opened to their own shortcoming. This is why it's essential to preach the gospel to yourself daily, and share it often with other. This embeds a humility and sensitivity to sin. Immature believers are among the congregation, find one and do breakfast like Christ did for those fishing days after His resurrection. Walk with one like Paul, encouraging the faith and being authentic.

Asking if you play football/mistaken for salesperson is not a microaggression. You then go on to say we need to remember to "lead in love. " its not loving to ASSUME ppl have underlying racist thoughts. Money's down that you didn't survey those ppl WHY they asked you such questions. Also, I'm disabled. I don't see many disabled evangelists. I agree with u, I bet most of those church leaders Don't engage with black believers, but to say the reason there's minimal black speakers IS SOLELY for that reason isn't right either. Lord, lead us.
Norah Ismail. I'm just going to trust that what this man says is true. White people make and express insulting assumptions about him -- and it happens pretty frequently. The law has convinced me that I am so thoroughly sinful, that my interactions with Black people are tainted by sin, my interactions with women, disabled people, etc are ALL contaminated by my sinful desires. I can unashamedly admit to my sin because I know Christ already absorbed my embarrassment and guilt. I'd like to hear more from this guy.

Truth.
racists aren't christian tho. How can you say you love God who you can't see and not love your brother that you can see.
A wonderful point!
