    I really enjoyed your Datsun build series. I also own a 1200 that needs a full resto, which i have been hesitant to do as i am not a skilled person, however i found your videos to be more helpful then most of the other how to videos out there. It also motivated me to a point that i am watching one of your videos before starting to restore mine. Also great to see that you are in Sydney. I am on the Central Coast.

      Awesome! Hope you're staying safe! I don't have a mechanical background, I think all you need is the motivation and the right prep and research! :)) The 1200 wiki has been super helpful for me as well!

      So glad to hear :) Luckily I haven't started any work on the lower half of the car! Plan is, once I get it rolling again, I'll try move it to a different car spot

      @@32Builds small things .
      -Like close up shots where you move in to a subject.
      -some time lapses with music over it (copyright free lol)
      - some shots panning over what you working on.
      - let the video tell its own story, you don't have to quiet explain every detail in your words . Say the things that are important .
      - if you want some examples and inspiration, check out some of gingium's build video's. He does a good job of explaining exactly what's happening but gives time for the project to speak for itself.
      Like your build and skill is awesome show it off.
      At the end of the day your videos are really good they just need that cherry on top to really set it off! It will keep people that aren't as technically minded on the video for longer.
      Honestly keep it up I'm loving the build . See if spicing it up helps the view and sub count. I'm a fan already, wanna see you blow up on here.
      PS: I'm not trying to sound like I know more than you, just want to help. I don't know much about building cars but watching UA-cam car videos close on 36 hours a week I have an idea of what people enjoy.

    I can feel my skin burning and the horrible burnt skin smell just watching the welding haha get yourself a pair of leather welding sleeves to avoid the rayburn/sunburn, definitely worth the money.

Grr you have a good knowledge for not being a mechanic i aspire your knowledge, personally i see myself a step below you.

    Doesn't rubberized undercoat will lock the salt/water that stick on the body and finally cause the rust ?for me its pretty risky :)

    • @32Builds
      @32Builds  4 роки тому +1

      I think the rubberised stuff is only good if there's no rust on the metal to begin with, cause you then lock the salt/moisture out, on top of that it prevents chips in the paint from debris flung up from the road. Not sure about how salt effects this paint, but its something I luckily don't have to deal with in Australia.

    Hey bro. Something is not ok with your welds. I think you should turn up your welders voltage, and turn down thw current if you are worried of making holes. Are you sure the polarity is ok? Are you welding on galvanized steel? If you're using gas and the metal is clean, your welds shouldn't be having craters on them. Turn up the voltage! You are not getting good penetration

    • @32Builds
      @32Builds  4 роки тому

      Thanks for the info dude. My welds have seen slight improvements since here, but yeah I've checked the polarity of the welder. I'm also constantly learning about the adjustments in settings for different situations. Its a real steep learning curve haha
