- Inuvik’s Plumb Crazy Mechanical has 17 employees, including journeypersons. Owner Melinda Gillis says her passion is in apprenticeship. “l like supporting our local people to get certified and ticketed within our region so they can take on jobs.” She calls apprenticeship a big commitment, but says they always celebrate when their team members get top marks or pass milestones. “That’s really rewarding.”
