They showed a footage of Matt Boling in practice back in Sr year High School. He was pacing his team mates running 50.0 for the 400 M. For him it was a liesurely stroll. Almost like a rythmic, no exertion, chill 8 minutes miles from someone who can run in the 4 minute range. When I saw this footage, I felt if he ran the 800 M he might be cold as hell. There were alot of 800M guys on the mile relay, and they do well. Matt, chilled and ran 50.0, zero exertion, zero strain. From that footage I felt he could run 2x50.0 or 1:40 for the 800M

    • @aaronfleming9426

How? For one thing, they lost time on their exchange with the anchor taking off way too late. Then he switched the baton from one hand to another. That might not seem like a big thing, but when your state championship is going to come down to .01 seconds and you're trying to beat Matthew Boling, you can't give up ANYthing.
