    The best one by far is Shelly-Ann's come back. She covered a LOT of distance against Neita who is a great athlete and an experienced anchor. Shelly DESTROYED that leg.

      That was wild, I think Neita also thought she had that so she was on cruise control a bit, especially towards the end. She was a lot younger back then, definitely was taught a lesson that day. Shelly is the goat womens sprinter for a reason.

      Yeah this was hand-timed so there’s controversy about the actual time. Some people have analyzed the film from the event and agree with the time, but it will probably never be settled. But his age, his early retirement, the track conditions, the crappy cleats they wore, the poor training of the time, the lack of good nutritional information (and PEDs) are all good arguments in his favor,

    Evelyn Ashford in that relay leg caught an 100m World champion Marlies Ghor with a massive head start and left daylight between them at the end that was next level. Gwen Torrence did one simular but not against such an adversary.

    I hope Lard can return to form from all the injuries. That was beyond disrespectful how he walked Shawn down, he did it multiple times too at LSU if I remember correctly. He’s kind of like a mini De grasse, short and lean with inconsistent starts and incredible top speed. Also I think Noah could’ve possibly won that relay if he wouldn’t have taken off so soon/slow when he received the baton. He was a lot younger back then with a lot less relay experience though, so it’s understandable. 🤷🏿‍♂️

    An in shape Elaine Thompson might be the most technically sound female sprinter I’ve ever seen. Literally looks like she’s trotting as she passes people. Shelly is the goat, but Elaine at her peak was superior imo. 🤷🏿‍♂️

    Ashford's anchor is the best by far. It was at the Olympics. National pride was at an all time high. All the signs led to an epic race between Team USA and the communist teams. Ashford ate that leg up! The end. Period.
