Thanks for a great review. I have the pixel tablet. Love it so far❤. Battery life is pretty good 🔋. I love using the Google Assistant routines while the device is on the speaker dock. Nice and clean Android interface.
Hopefully Google add nice new features in the future to this device.
Agree with everything and I too hope this one continues to receive exciting updates. As I read about Bard slowly replacing Google Assistant, I get more excited.
Nice one! I'm torn. I am somewhat close to getting an ipad maybe. The main thing leaning me that way over something like this is the occasional time that i like to play with garage band. 😄
Have to admit, I've completely transitioned to the Pixel Tablet. If you are interested in my iPad, let me know. Even includes the Logitech case. I'm sure I can make you a pretty sweet deal.
Nice review, thank you. Four years of updates is comparatively good I guess, but it still seems incredible that a 500 dollar device will only be supported for such a brief period. My laptop is eight years old and it still gets updates.
@davedave9308 Thanks for the kind comment. Glad you like the video. Agree. Still too short and I purchased mine for $100 less during Google's Christmas sale. Still, as you say, that's a chunk of change but have to say. I use the device every day, which I couldn't say about the iPad, and feel like I'm at least getting my money's worth. Heck, in four years, my geek tendencies will have me moving on the next device. 😂

I just have a question for yourself or anyone else that has the tablet. I’m travelling on 14 hour international flights regularly. Would a USB stick plugged in with movies on it? Be able to be read by the tablet. ? Thinking I can load up 128 gig to watch on the plane if it works.
I have used a USB-C on my Pixel phone, but have not tried on the Pixel Tablet. I have to assume it will. I'd give it a shot, but my USB-C drive is at the "paying gig's" office.

Absolutely! Ya love'em and hate'em at the same time on some days. 😂 I will say, I use this tablet every day. I never said that about my iPad because it often has a dead batter.
@@retroCombs here is Australia the Google Tablet is $599 (roughly $380USD) and the Samsung Tablet is also on sale for $778 (roughly $500 USD) so I’m trying to decide between the two
@bencostello2993 I've not used the Samsung but I'm not a fan of the software they put on their phones. Get the Pixel Tablet with the base. That's what gives you the best value because you get an audio hub with the deal. My two cents. I'm replying on the Pixel Tablet!

@@retroCombs thank you! I'm from Ukraine and many options from Google don't work in my region! i have a choice pixel tablet or Microsoft surface pro 7. What do you advise?
@sviatels I may not be the best to make that recommendation because I am not a Windows user. My first guess though is that the Surface will give you more software opportunities. The Pixel Tablet is limited to apps from the Play Store and you would need to purchase a keyboard.
Your crazy transitions hurt my eyes so bad I had to stop watching.
