For certain sports it can be really expensive and it may take traveling. I wish I had more supportive parents with my dreams and means of travel. Gymnastics and figure skating are very expensive and as I got better, my coaches wanted me to have a private lessons but we couldn’t afford it.
excuses excuses you can still do it, it may be harder or easier now. and I pay for my own shit and i work a job at 16 so you can do this i believe in you dawg
I'm getting stronger, faster and can run longer every week. I'm starting at low weight, high reps, multiple sets and increasing at a slow rate. And for running, I'm training for 30 minutes at an average pace and increasing my speed at 0.1 MPH every other day to get faster and I do several medium distance sprints with a medium rest times. 👍. I have a very unique training style to always get better and never get injured from it

I don't think there's an age limit for the olympics but some sports have an eligibility limit. The oldest is a 66 year old Australian equestrian competing in Tokyo this year. I'm 21 and I might start training again because I really want to be in the Olympics ahaha

My 1 dream is to be a 400m Olympic swimmer, I train everyday and my parents spend at least £5000 a year for me. I really hope to become one and I’ll see those who also want to become an Olympian to!
What’s so expensive about swimming? Wouldn’t have expected a number that high
@@joshuafelten6967 goggles, paying to swim at a pool, practice suits, equipment, competition suits, caps
@@toenjoyer yeah ik, but £5000? Come on
@@joshuafelten6967 competition suits are 300-1000$ alone

I'm 19 coming 20 so I'm probably too old :p
I’m exactly the same, but i don’t believe i’m too old, if you have determination you can do it. For one i believe in you!
I don't think there's an age limit for the olympics but some sports have an eligibility limit. The oldest is a 66 year old Australian equestrian competing in Tokyo this year. I'm 21 and I might start training again because I really want to be in the Olympics ahaha
No you're definitely not. Roberto Carcelen, an athlete from Peru began his interest in cross country skiing at age 36. 3 years later he was in Vancouver competing at the 2010 winter games, aged 39.
I am ind8
i would hope sleep is legal
I want to be in the bin swimmer
I want to compete in the Olympics one day but the only problem I have is sleep because I have insomnia 😭
You can always treat it. Chill.
