My mom taught us that when someone is reprimanding my sister’s kids, no matter how much we don’t like it, we should never voice it in front of the child because it makes the other person appear as if they don’t like the child and the child will end up favoring the other person more…
It also teaches the child to continue with that behaviour because it whoever speaks up for them nullifies whatever they were reprimanded on and the child registers that my mom or dad will always speak up for me even if I'm in the wrong.
Guys, Mrs Mphamo has grown haibo!! Or maybe it's that she spends more time with us that she's gotten comfortable with letting us into her mind. She's so aware and present, so refreshing to see that she's also like this in friendships as well. It's like she's that friend who will see your blindspots and make you aware so you work on them but also not in a harsh way but lovingly so kodwa not hide the truth from you. You're such a gem Mrs M, your growth is visible and we love to see it❤
Ah man this message. Thank you thank you. I think honestly it’s being comfortable in my skin and in my life and honestly realising that I am who I am. Thank you thank you ❤️
Loved the break down of the difference between loving to be alone and loving to have alone time. I also was very miserable when I moved closer to work, i was far from my partner and i had no friends. I got pregnant and moved back home because I knew I would need help. Yes I miss having my space and peace and quiet, I have my room for the space but not the peace and quiet(lol) but I do not miss being alone when I didn’t have work to do. I like knowing someone is here all day long even when I lock myself in my room. I enjoyed time alone when I journal or sing praises or going shopping or watching a movie but I still was not entirely okay with being alone and far from the people that love me. I was very lonely sometimes. I do not think that’s what God wants for us either. ❤
When I watch Bonolos sitdowns I feel like im getting a hug from a big sister 🥺❤️. This Q&A turned into something insightful, educational. Love this channel so much 🎀
My best friend and I gave birth this year March(also a week apart), I have a baby girl and she has a handsome baby boy. And it’s so beautiful sharing moments with her.
We were even given the same date, 22 March 2024. You and Nonto remind me of us. She has Nonto’s personality and I kind of have yours. Lol it’s so funny and refreshing watching this
@@Zanele_Mogojoethe fact that you even called her son handsome without saying your little girl is beautiful shows that you are selfless and a very non jealous friend.l’m sure your daughter is gorgeous but your humility had you not mention it.Great friend you are hun 😊
My final comment: I love where you ladiws are in your walks with Jesus, the convictions etc. I just love to see it and I love how bold you are being about sharing it as well. May the Lord keep you both and continue to enlarge your territories.
I would love to have more of these but maybe I would be asking for too much. But I just love conversations like this. Looking forward to the podcast Bonolo❤
I also agree with the part about schools. I have been very intentional about sending my child to a Christian creche and now I've already found him a Christian school - as in non denominational cuz some of these private "Christian" schools are also promoting certain agendas. At my son's creche, the boys have a separate toilet to the girls. They are taught the old school on what girls and boys roles are.
The way I can relate to the part about feeling somehow when our family members reprimand our kids 😅 And I agree with Bonolo that it's a reflection of how it feels to the child when we do the reprimanding. My twin sister will literally say the same thing that I say to my little man and I get so touched shew 🥺
I agree with Nonto. For cocomelon to add things in their cartoons KNOWING very well that their target market don’t even fully understand what that is. Would make me completely cut it off. Protect your kids innocence for as LONG as you can. Or at least after installing a solid foundation within them. These cartoons are very questionable. A baby doesn’t even know all the alphabet yet they co sign such things to be added to cartoons. I’m an adult and I still get confused. What about a baby? The less screen time; the better. It’s all a confusing scheme. Let the babies figure out who they are by themselves first. Then maybe cartoons can be introduced. “Monkey see; monkey do” age is very critical. They observe and absorb so much before they even get to understand. It’s wrong for cartoons to incorporate that at such a tender age.
The same initials for your kids would be very confusing once the grow up and they get letters with Ms K. O. Mphamo 😅 but they lucky that age is gone, used to get confused with my daughter in law we both SS Mnyandu and studied at unisa so when our post came we were using the same address it was Ms SS Mnyandu all the time 😂😂😂😂, even my siblings Mr MM Zama was so confusing 😂😂
😂I also feel some typa way when my mom disciplines my daughter, she doesn’t hit her , she uses words but my baby cries sometimes and I’m like not too firm hle, do it for her to understand(even though I know she doesn’t understand everything)😂 I be going to comfort my baby. They should reprimand but it’s not comfortable. I also reprimand and I don’t know how they feel when I do it
They're quite expensive. I think it's a good option if both parents are super busy and away from home most of the day. But if one parent is around and available to do run around, i don't think it's necessary. Also Au pairs are perfect for school going kids, not babies and toddlers.

@@SibsM93This!!! It's like enabling the behavior. Rather say it to the other adult in the absence of the child.
Mmmmm I don’t know. I’m 2 ways about it because a child should also see that you can voice something you don’t like to someone and still get along😬
