Dr. Dray has been inspiring me to try gel eye patches. I’m trying to be minimal, but having my morning tea with jellies under my eyes sounds downright pleasant.

She inspired me to do that and I love it! It’s so relaxing and me time with my morning coffee. A nice cool gel under my eyes.
It's a good one. I also do a rice water toner every once and a while. I honestly don't use it enough to make it effective as a treatment for anything, but it DOES feel nice.

The AcneFree benzoyl peroxide wash is a staple for me. My derm had recommended Jan Marini bpo wash because it uses only 2.5% , but I didn't want to spend $45 for a cleanser. AcneFree wash is a dupe for that, and its under 10 bucks. It's pretty gentle. I leave it on as I brush my teeth to allow it to penetrate.

I wish they had a fragrance free salycic acid moisturizer from Acne Free. Either that or something from Vasiline lotions which are awesome and a cheap as chips alternative to almost every large brand promising a lot but doing very little.
I can never find it in my Walgreens. I’ve had good to moderate success with the 4% bpo cleansers. Wondering if I should go up to 10% or down to 2.5% if I can find the acne free one 🤔

Thank you for speaking on people who are on accutane and waxing. I wax brows and this isn’t spoken on enough. We go over a rather thorough release form and are careful not to wax anyone while on accutane and up to six months after use. It rips all the skin off. And most of the people who are on it, are never told to be careful with hair removal.
I’m a 911 emergency dispatcher and I, too, believe in the power of coloring books and Squishimals to get us through the day 😅
You made me laugh about the detox comment. I’m in recovery from opiates and the word has a terrible connotation for me, too. Thanks for always being so honest and informative.

I remember when I had really bad back acne and I came across Dr. Dray panoxyl video ever since I haven't had back acne. No more pain either ( my pimples used to hurt so bad)

I bought that Acne Free 2% benzoyl peroxide cleanser last year. Really great stuff. Got it because I thought you would approve of the ingredient list and here we are! :)

And your consistent no nonsense style of educating the public is so refreshing! you’ve changed my skincare routines so much! As a former melanoma survivor, mine was caught early & removed before it’s metz’. However after my surgery I became hermitish, avoiding the sun at all costs. But now im sworn to daily sunscreen use thanks to you! Shoot I’ve been stocking up on it wherever I see sunscreen on sale! Thank you thank you!!
Everything is more expensive at Walgreens and more at CVS. Prices are better at Walmart, HEB, and Kroger. I love your comment if you are Ashton Kusher this body wash would last you a lifetime 🤣😅😂👍
CVS is so overpriced. I only purchase when I have a 40% coupon.
The good thing is you can use Walgreen rewards which is money towards purchases but I agree it's more expensive than Walmart

I’m with you! I find Walgreens and CVS very overpriced. Even CVS’s house brand is expensive! I use mostly CeraVe products and I find them cheapest at Walmart. Costco has CeraVe in the tub.
@@MsTammi125 Walgreens has gone up quite a bit in pricing and yes using the rewards points is good but I also wait for the buy one get one half-off. It seems that that restores the price to what it normally used to be. Some things I cannot find at Walmart but watch Walgreens because often you get expired sunscreens. I ordered Walgreens brand of sunscreen a couple of weeks ago and I knew to check when it was delivered to the store or when they shopped for me and again I had sunscreen two-headed expired back in March.

I've been using vitamin E cream for moisturizing, Neutrogena face wash for twenty years, never used any SPF, and will use anything available for body wash.
found this channel about a week ago. Now: Aveeno calm&restore for face moisturizer, CeraVe foaming face cleanser, Aveeno restorative skin therapy body wash, Aveeno shave gel, Aveeno SPF 50 sunscreen, Aveeno SPF 30 face moisturizer and found Kroger sunscreen SPF 70 for $1.55. Im just starting to take care of my face & skin at 41. Thanks Dr.Dray!🙂

I know I got a tea from Walmart that said "detox" and my liver doctor said HELL NO! I do have liver issues but who knew that a tea could be so dangerous to certain products after that experience I have said away from "detox" ANYTHING.
I'm a psychologist and one of my first jobs was in a psychiatric units and helped patients detoxing from heavy drugs. I still remember the amount of vomiting
I just finished the Dial Free and Clear, I liked it, it worked better than I thought it would, expected it to be much more mild.

LA beautiologist an esthetician here on UA-cam has a product exactly like you described.
Although drug store products have really “upped their game” over the years, they’ve really “upped their prices” as well! But I guess it goes along with ALL prices that have been increasing (gas, food, etc). 😐
Wipes are fantastic for taking the majority of makeup before balm and final cleanse. I have used neutrogena wipes since they were created, first wipes/inky list oat balm/Purity face wash for final removal(can't stand any film ) and your skin is clean and not stripped feels soft then essence, hyaluronic serum, CeraVe moisturizer, retinol and CeraVe night cream.
With all the products your already using wipes really aren’t necessary…as long as they you use the Oat Balm for 30-60 seconds you should be good. Plus buying wipes will just create more waste and more things for ya to buy.
that goicoechea brand is sold in Mexico, as well as the cicatricure stuff and asepxia acne products haha
fun fact, the cicatricure original product was a cream for scars and cicatriz in spanish means scar

I loved the bit about detoxing. We are trivializing it and i didn't think that there are people who are doing it because the have real toxins in their bodies they need to get rid of

Those towel scrunchies are perfect for the wrists while washing your face in the sink so water doesn't drip down your forearms. Right now I use sweatband and those work fine as well.

There usually is a whole sunscreen section you may have missed. I know cuz I always seem to be standing in front it every time I go into Walgreens. I spend like 20 minutes scrutinizing every sunscreen & end up buying nothing there! Er, I get my sunscreen online . . .
Hahaha! My mom always used to say "Never put anything in your ear smaller than your elnow with a towel wrapped around it." She's 91, and can still hear perfectly!!
The Acne Free line of products has always done my skin very well! There 3 step line which is basically a dupe for Proactiv is ao much better and way cheaper! And im loving the adapalene as anti-aging step! Love the price point!

The apple cider vinegar has eliminated my need for a prescription antacid for the last 4 months after being in them for over 13 years. I don't take a solid shot of ACV but it a mix of that with tumeric and honey. I love it
I have a teenage son that plays alot of sports so always need to wear waterproof sunscreen, he complains that it causes acne but I am sure it‘s because he does not do the double cleanse so unable to remove the waterproof sunscreen. It is impossible to convince him to do a double cleanse, so makeup wipes (as the first cleanse) may be a good option in this scenario.
I’d recommended micellar water and cotton pads instead of makeup wipes, 1000x better!
Yeah. I think it’s the lack of double cleanse. I use Neutrogena’s oil free waterproof sunscreen and I am acne prone as well. It wasn’t until recently that I started watching Dr Dray’s content and her help got me a clear face. I was hesitant about sunscreen and cosmetics because I thought that they’d break me out, but a double cleanse at night has prevented any acne and clogged pores :)

For a natural deodorant, nothing better than milk of magnesium! Just rub it on your skin and you’ll be protected for an entire day. Only caveat, it’s not an antiperspirant, which for me it’s no big deal since I don’t really wet my blouses.

I've always used Q-tips for 30+ years (only after the days I wash my hair once or twice/week) and I've NEVER had an issues but I did already know about possibly damaging your ear drum so what I do is put the tip in my ear but without applying pressure and I twist/spin the Q-tip instead of pushing into my ear hole. THATS the trick! Even had a doctor compliment my clean ears! Definitely gotta be careful but I cannot stand the feeling of wax build up in my ears! lol👂🏼👏🏼
Ive used qtips to clean my ears my entire life...3 or 4 times a week...no issues...how do they expect you to clean your ears ?

Peach Slices is great. I like Walgreens Acne Cleansing bar. It is great for acne and body odor. Walgreens sells an affordable 3% generic salicylic moisturizer and cleanser. It is for psoriasis.
Dr Dray, I’m trying to use products like Nair or Veet on myself but heard that Vaseline can help omit the irritation that products like these can cause. Would you be so kind as to perhaps shed some light on this concern of mine? Love your videos! : )

That’s funny because that’s exactly what I say though. Between the heat wave, humidity, wildfire smoke, masks, sunscreen and makeup, I always say “ i can’t wait to get home and wipe myself “. Then I follow up with another cleanser before I go to bed. Feels wonderful after sweating under a mask.

That Maybelline FitMe tinted moisturizer was just ok. The coverage was minimal and it breaks apart after a few hours.

While traveling they come handy, however this day like you, I run away from fragance like a sinner to the cross.
I’m a mechanic, with eczema…so I get REAL dirty daily, but need something gentle to wash with. Dr. Dray, you have changed my life with your Vanicream rec’s!
However, the Dial body wash mentioned in this video was one of the worst I’ve ever tried. I exited the shower itchy, hot and covered in red bumps.
I’ve had fantastic luck with the new Dove Irritation Care though! It’s super soothing but still rinses clean.

The Walgreens benzoyl peroxide bar is the best bargain out there. I love it. I use it just the way you described (I don't have acne); Im a nurse, I work long hours, it does the job and does it well. Great Price and less litter.

I literally still have scarring years after using natural deodorants. I fully fell down the "clean beauty" rabbithole, such a bad dermatitis on my underarm developed, it took months to get rid of totally!! And the Dr said I had a sweat rash (shocker!). Always use aluminium deodorants guys 😷

I'm not stopping my use of Qtips in the ear holes, but I will refrain from perfume on my eye skin.
The Raw Sugar body wash is amazing!!! I have the one with the pineapple scent that I have been using for a week now and it smells divine ❤️❤️❤️. Has an amazing tropical scent!!! It doesn't dry me out my at all and feels very pleasant on my skin. And most importantly, it doesn't contain the preservatives that irritate the skin. You should try it out Dr.Dray!!!!
I use the Walgreens Benzoyl face wash. The only thing that helped my weird hormonal break out!!
Cetaphil wipes are my favorite and they are around the same price. They are fragrance free, gentle but remove makeup well. I have tried many brands and they are far better than the rest. (Even CeraVe) Great for travel, especially on an airplane or post workout or when you don’t have access to a sink.
I got burns on my face and huge irritation with Nair that lasted years. Not good and I do not recommend 👎🏻

I am using the Olay eczema wash you showed a few videos ago and am loving it. I was using Mrs Meyers and was very stripped. I am being more strategic with areas I wash thanks!!

I’ve been using Neutrogena makeup wipes for yrs and have never had an issue they are grest I use the fragrance free wipes they take off my makeup great then I cleanse my face afterwards with a great gentle cleanser

Dr. Dray, you are so cute! Do you ever feel like when you're shopping at drug stores that workers start following you around? I have to say I spend a while looking at the ingredients in the products and I always feel like they are sus about me. Have never stolen from a store just really look at the products I get before leaving
I love those Asepxia soaps for the body.
It might be coincidental, but I got the most intense rashes whenever I tried the makeup removal wipes. Other products have irritated my skin, but there is something about wipes that irritates the hell out of my skin. Obviously it could have been the fragrance, but if you have sensitive skin it seems to be more irritating because of the bit of chemicals from the wipes left behind.
Dr Gray is so funny. Throwing those one liners in there "if you are Ashton Klutcher this will last you a lifetime." If only he had to be listening.
