- In this video, following up from our last, we are ranking the Egyptian god powers, including the new minor god Sobek that replaced Hathor.
Let me know how you'd rank these same god powers, did your favorite rank higher or lower than you expected?

VERY INFORMATIVE and straight to the point! thank you!!!! 💖💖
Thank you for watching!!
I'd still say Shifting Sands should be S tier though. It used to be EVEN better, doesn't mean that it's not one of the top dogs right now.
The amount of plays you can do with Shifting Sands at any point in the game is just mad. Moreover, if you hold onto your SS it will always be in your opponent's head that you have access to it. Especially in ranked.
Mind games are just as powerful as the powers themselves right!
Let's not forget Set's Vision can even be upgraded to cost no longer any favor after first use and having reduced cooldown. So that makes it S+ Tier
Right? That's pretty OP especially if you are using it to spam your other godpowers!
Ancestors in ranked is great. . .
Serpents in C tier? Absolutely not, it's one of the best powers in ranked.
In ranked? I haven't played much ranked to determine the values of the godpowers there! Would you say it should be much higher then? 😃
@@thatbritrick that's fair, I respect your honesty.
Yea, it basically wins Water because it spawns 16 serpents. On land it can easily deny your opponents 2nd TC.
@@thatbritrick in the Top 25 it's almost an auto pick for Isis and Set
@@thatbritrick Your list is really solid though besides that. Nice work 👍
Interesting, I had no idea! I based my rankings mostly on personal use in skirmishes and campaign as that's what I have always played, so I don't think the ranking is necessarily applicable to any ranked or competitive play! Sorry
Shifting sands used to be great to teleport enemy units to their death.
Also other peeps are right - the serpents are good for early area control and the sea serpents are good.
You ranked meteor a bit too high - it's super random and the stupid things tend to always fall where they shouldn't be.
Yes I contemplated Meteor a bit, I wanted to rank it A due to how random the hits were, but being able to cast it again using favor makes it still pretty OP!
Shifting sands was always fun for that reason, I used it more against enemies than for my own armies.
Hello. I have an unrelated question:
How were you able to extract the Gods' images from their portraits (i.e. remove the background)
Hey there, I used Canva pro, it has a feature to remove backgrounds from images. I believe it uses AI, so it's not always perfect, but it takes only seconds compared to manually removing them yourself!
@@thatbritrick noted. Thank you for answering. I thought you data-mined the game files. I am looking for tutorials on how to do it.
Gotcha! I'm not smart enough for all that, sorry! Hope you're able to find an answer though!
Prosperity should be higher, because it not only buffs mining speed, but also caravans. That means it is also viable late game unlike stated in the video.
Does it increase the speed of the caravans themselves? If so, then that would be beneficial for sure!
@@thatbritrick As far as I noticed it increses the amount of gold for each caravan. But I cant say for sure by what amount.
As far as I remember from one game my relative short caravan route went from 8 to 11 gold each.
I can't say if this was increased by a fixed amount or percentage wise.
this really needs some testing.
Nevertheless the "Prosperity" spell is viable troughout the game.
@mutajin7701 I believe from what I read on the wiki, they left in the "bug" that also increases wood harvest speed too, but I didn't test that to confirm
???
