This is SO exciting! I follow the archeology and I'm so glad these brethren were inspired to make the documentary. My husband was stationed in Oman during Desert Storm. I'll never forget when he called home and said "Deb I'm in the Land Bountiful!" It was amazing as he described it to me and we read the Scriptures together. I can't wait to see this!

I absolutely love this! My testimony is not based on the evidences that may be found in Hayden and Jackson's journey, but to explore the path that Lehi and his family could have taken excites me to the core! I can't wait to watch the videos in the future and will do all I can to spread the word!
As always Greg, I enjoy the content and guest speakers you have on your podcast!

    I'm jealous also Greg! Haha
During our BoM CFM I was led to look into the steel of Laban's sword and I also came across Damascus steel which is a beautiful watermarked metal and had strong impressions that this could have been the fine steel that Nephi had described, the only problem was that the only dating I found online for the origin of Damascus steel was I think at an age which I believe fell outside of Lehi's 600BC timestamp.
Thank you to these fine men for corroborating what I felt was the spirit leading me to answers that I could never answer definitively myself. Your adventure is what my dreams have been made of since my years of seminary over 30years ago! And this year I also came across Wadi Tayyib al-Ism and watching a family of Phillippinos on their tour through to the mouth of those obstacles journeying to the place where Moses' "song of the Sea" was sung. I thought how remarkable to imagine that the same place where God brought the Israelites through the Red Sea, was potentially the same spot where Nephi built his ship, to sail to a new promised land, and that they also would have been aware of that oral tradition of the location of where the Song of Moses was sung as they landed at the mouth of that narrow valley. Two family stories interwoven at the same geographical place. I wonder if Nephi felt a spiritual witness of his connection to Moses and the faith tradition that had passed down to them through Moses'teachings?
    Thank you for sharing!

I love this, I feel there is a fire that is growing again for people to testify without reservation of the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I think this will help a lot of members that got caught up with the doubts of the world and then they give I think-timonies instead of a testimony.

When I was in high school I had gone in a class Spanish trip to Costa Rica and Guatemala. I was the only member so my experiences were my own but I saw the Book of Mormon come to life in the way indigenous people spoke of the white God and even remnants of the sacrament. I could see where the Savior had come.
This makes me excited! I know the Book of Mormon is true for myself but this can bring so much light to it as well.

This sounds like a very promising Docu-series. Another exciting possibility would be to merge the Central and South american model with the Heartland Model and explore the possibility of them landing somewhere in central and South America. Perhaps after Christ Visitation I would explore how they may have migrated northward toward the heartland of North America.
We know that in Helaman 3: 4-5 it talks about mass migrations of large numbers of people traveling great distances Northward. I've done a lot research on this and gathered the best evidences for central and south america as well as evidences for the heartland model. ( DVD 18 PT1 and DVD 18 PT2 ) Based on my research I believe in the Hemisphereic Model and I would love to see that model in your series as well.
