Again I love how insanely surreal and freaky Melee's style was, being hyper-digital as if the hub of the game took place in virtual reality or in the matrix or some such, that artificial design is really what sets this game apart from the rest based on looks
Yes. Brawl also has a digital platform design but that looks more like a spaceship of some kind while this one looks more like a digital arena, and being more low-poly and having simpler neon colors greatly help. The rest of them are just giant rocks in space and aren't nearly as cool, but I admit there are background sequences like the earth and the sun colliding on SSB4 that are awesome as well
I love how even though "2 minutes" is typically the default length for Time Battles in Smash Bros, a handful of stages (and even songs) in both Melee and Brawl take like 3.5 minutes to complete one loop. Gives me reasons to be proud that I always decided to increase that 2-minute ruleset up to 3. Rainbow Cruise and Mushroomy Kingdom are two of the only exceptions, in that they actually do take 2 minutes much like the Default Time Settings suggest for each first match.
The BEST iteration of Final Destination
By far!

Honestly, it's my favorite Final Destination stage in all the series!
