Ymir. A god that even in death, he still gives live. May We follow your example that even in our mortal death, our work continues to bring life by inspiring the living
Something about this echoes glory and then is followed by an odd. Almost anger. and to my (as of now sadly lacking) knowledge of Ymir that seems fitting For clarification. I find this to be beautiful work.
The glory of life forged from nothingness, all rising from nothing, followed by the primal anger and fire of the human spirit to continue to overcome death. The second half is us carrying Ymirs proverbial torch

I love the almost fatally circular quality of this song, - the circularity of the beginning and the end oddly reflects the Ring- themed outlook of Norse poems and songs.
At once this song could be brooding and intensely tribal, but then- totally liberating as if we are wisped away in a gust of wind on a clear winter day. Gealdýr's voice and your storytelling really takes my imagination away and make me want to read up more about Norse culture.
Thank you and I am deeply interested in any music you guys will make in the future. Because of music like this I am glad for the state of traditional/ tribal music today.

Amazing track guys !! Skåååååål to my neighbors for listening too 😂 Hope they enjoyed it as I did 💪
Are you swedish?
Hope nonsense from Buddha again
Each time i hear the second part of the song, i feel like if my ancestors are reminding me that im not living in Giggungagap, and im no Giant nor Ace, im a mortal human, and my time is limited.
Thank you a lot for the song!
I have heard this song a couple of times...last night it was in my dream, and was singing the first part, it resonated so powerfully in my dream that I woke up and felt empowered. It felt so real. Idk what it means. All I know is that the universe communicates in strange ways, which is a good thing. May my mind keep opening and I receive guidance.
Dayum! This song has no business being so freakin' catchy, WTH! I can't get this out of my head! Ginnungagap, Niflheim, Muspelheim, Ild, Is, Draber, Falder, Ymir, Jotun, Skaber, Aser... Ginnungagap, Niflheim, Muspelheim...
I love it!
My favorite part is: "Ginnungagap, Niflheim, Muspelheim, ild is draber falder ymir jotun skaber aser"

The beginning vocals just shatter my soul. It gives off a feeling of sadness and longing but also peace in a way for me
The beginning of this song will never fail to bring a tear to my eye.
I absolutely admire this song, i can listen to it everywhere, everyday and it ispires me and motivates me. I listen zo it instead of drinking coffe
Dude holy shit, the solo at the beginning has such a beautiful vibe around it. Kinda one of those songs that make you want to cry and you don't know why you know? Sounds amazing.
Out of every Danheim song, Ymir will always be my favorite.
*_Please make an extended version of the first solo. Sounds beautyful_*
One of the most beautiful tracks I’ve heard in my life ❗️
I love this song so much. There is so much passion in this voice. A next Masterpiece and a fantastic collaboration.
You love really easy we noticed
1:47 is the best part, just the slight change has such a great effect
This deep voice is so beautiful , i love the lyrics and the entire composition !
It truly feels like my nordic roots are gathering in my heart, singing this.
i loved this song, it contained a imortant story of Ymir and the Old norse translation really help you to learn some words! The Musi and song it self was amazing! Love to see more!

Love this one! Thank you very much for your songs. Right now I am addicted listening to them while writing👌
Guys, this give me chills.
The first part is beautiful and the rhythm of the second part is something that hammers in your head without leave it.
I love the beginning of the song, wish there would be a complete song in this kinda style.
I light a candle and praise Gefion while listening to this to invoke her wisdom and guidance.
Thank you so much for this music.

Why is 2000 years?

En France aussi nous adorons vos musique, danheim. Superbe musique. Bonne continuation de la part de la France
I wish the world was more like 1500 years ago. Thank you for this.
Favorite song of 2020 hands down. The goosebumps. The feels. Thank you Danheim
This was so beautiful. The Father hasn't forgotten about any of us. Jesus wasn't his final advocate. There are many who worship the father in their pagan tradition these days and I think he is more than pleased with the demonstration of respect to the Gods

I never listened to this song deeply i just heard singing and immediately put it away because i was used only to the soundtracks but a year later i decided to listen to it now and just now realize how beautifull the singing is
I feel like I'm mourning an age I was never apart of...Kind of a testament to just how good your music is.
1:39...I let my pregnant wife listen to this song 2 weeks ago. Yesterday she had a baby, my beloved son... with small beard. If you dont believe me I can send a picture.

I wish the singing in the beginning was the whole song. That was beautiful.
Kind of left me dissapointed that the rest of the song wasn't like that.
No way the second part was awesome and is my favorite part
@@randomquestion7592 It shows the contrast of Niflheim and Muspelheim

The solo vocals at the start made me cry, like sob, it is indescribably powerful ❤️ skål brothers and sisters around the world
I always get a chills when I listen to this song. Literally every single time.
I will never have enough Danheim music in my life.
Did anyone else feel this in their soul?
Yes I couldn’t put it into words thank you
Blood memory
Yes long live the norsemen
"I remember a time in which never existed, I remember a time in which I have never been, sorrow fills me to feel it's longing, pride fills me to know it exists."

in the old age, Ymir lived

My heart and blood are pumping to each beat and note, remembering what my mind can not.
His body would become the soil, his skull became the sky
And then they threw his giant brains aloft to form the clouds
His teeth became the rocks, they made mountains from his bones
And on the meadows through his hair the summer breeze was blown
Hail brothers of metal!
Memories will fade from man
The snow of death will fall upon
The children of Wodan
Distant echoes, whispering
Of how it all began
For the children of Wodan!!!
Cringe
I am no longer surprised that Metal evolved in Scandinavia ^.^
0:28 The male vocalist at the beginnin' was very good! I like that a lot. Brought peace for that moment and had that interestin' vibe as well. Well done, lad
Edit: the vocalist here too 3:50
1:39 to 3:42 is the most bone chilling tune I’ve ever heard.
Imagine you're a monk at an English monastery and you heard this chanting out over the waves.

Something about this echoes glory and then is followed by an odd. Almost anger. and to my (as of now sadly lacking) knowledge of Ymir that seems fitting
For clarification. I find this to be beautiful work.
The glory of life forged from nothingness, all rising from nothing, followed by the primal anger and fire of the human spirit to continue to overcome death. The second half is us carrying Ymirs proverbial torch
