Vikings was a serious journey. Thank you Warduna for making Vikings the show with the best soundtrack ever. The emotions that your music bring up are incredible. Hail Ragnar, Hail Bjorn, Hail Ivar

And hail EINAR
Vikings is a shit and a horrible show
This is just my opinion... But I think each son took on a part of Ragnars personality. Bjørn was Ragnars courage, his leadership and bravery, Ubbe was the family man, the adventurer, Ivar was Ragnars anger, and determination, his need to conquer and be accepted. Hvitzerk had addictions like Ragnars and his epic fighting abilities, and Sigurd had the troublesome relationship with his brothers like Ragnar did with Rollo. Such an awesome awesome show.
Indeed 💯 %
All in all nicely done and concluded I thought. Such a great series. Would love to see them come back in some way in the spin-off show

I have no relations with the Norse and the Vikings, I am Greek, but I feel goosebumps every time I hear Selvik and Wardruna. It's an indescribable feeling, it's almost magical. Respect to a great people and to the pagans that suffered under Christian persecution. Blessed be all those that created the Vikings series and brought us into contact with this rich and ancient culture.
Good day, Sotiri. I understand the emotions the "old day" Scandinavians have on you.
Maybe it's because their culture had, in part, the same mentality as ours. Greeks.
But under no circumstances, I called it "ancient" as their history hasn't begun till the 8th or 9th century after christ.
And I agree that christianity, and All organized religion, for that matter, is the destroyer of the True identity of peoples.
Religion is the cancer of mankind.
Please, listen another Einar's song. It's from "Assassin's creed" ua-cam.com/video/yVaVppOkC-s/v-deo.html
Goosebumps all across the board.
Cheers from Ottawa.
@@dominusstyx i was referring to ancient because the Norse culture traces back to Antiquity, at the time of the Roman Empire, Scandinavian peoples hadn't changed customs until the arrival of Christianity. Pre Christian cultures had similar philosophical and moral principles, and then organised religion destroyed everything and manipulated people's consciousness so that they can control them more easily through the Church.
@@partizanlegis Which, sadly, is still happening. And I don't see that to change anytime soon.
Because, it's not only the Total Control of the masses (east and not only) that they have, but the tremendous Financial Gains (west and not only) as well.
Take care.
Greeks and Vikings had been connected once in the history.
The historians claim that there was a trading route "from Varangians to the Greeks".

When I hear this music it comes to my mind a quote from the movie Beowulf (2007) when in the aftermath of a battle against the Frisians, and old king Beowulf talks to his companion and friend Wyglaf, saying him
“The time of heroes is dead, Wyglaf, the Christ god has killed it, leaving human kind with nothing but weeping martyrs, fear and shame.”
Crusading knights do not like Beowulf's quote
Literally an inversion of the original meaning of the poem. The Anglo-Saxons portrayed Christ as a warrior-hero.
