Yes they did make few 06 pace cars. Now weather or not this one is legit. I ll leave that to the owner to say. It looks good, and to be authentic, I love the montes. I own a 03 black on black SS. and love it. Even with a v6 comfy loaded slick looking cars
I have one just like this. It is not a pace car, and was done up in Atlanta, Ga. and sold at a Chevy Dealership. My wife bought it, and there were 3300 done like this with the NASCAR stuff according to the dealer. It's been a good car, no problems, but front wheel drive sucks with 303 hp!
this is the only other american trucks specailty monte i have seen since i bought one a week ago at a dealer when i went to do a trade in but mine victory red and super tight the guy that owned it cryed when he traded it in because his wife wanted a camry the said he paid 53 k new for it.

This is why they put the Monte's on hiatus,.....because even at FWD, it would have been a problem for that Camaro!! GM wanted to make sure you buy that Camaro!! Honesly (and its not cause I own one) I think the Monte's nice body style dominates in the body style of the Camaro,.......
@demariojason I think the camaro would have still done great cause of stock HP and the help of Transformers. The monte would have been seen all over the track and giving the mustang gt a run for the money! (Damn Chevy U Fumble Again).

They never made a 2006 monte carlo in a pace car edition. Last time the monte was offered as a pace car was 2003. They were made 2000-2003. HTH

Are those Flowmasters Super 40's or Delta Flow 40's? And do you still have the Res on? I'm looking for this exact sound.
The only thing i was told was Flowmaster 40's, and NO Res. I believe they are Delta 40's though.
