@fragilesmoke yes sir!!! I was gonna get the PS5 but then I said. I wanna try something new. So I decided to make the switch from Console to PC. Let’s goooo! Got mine last night
Good review! Even the base model Omens perform well for most gamers (myself included). They have only improved with this new Omen - it is very easy to get in and change out parts, everything works well together. Even at 8gb ram at base, the system is balanced very well and does exactly what you expect of it. A far cry from the supposed "experts" at two prominent pc build companies i have tried. Building your own pc is the best bet - it just is. BUT - if you don't want to hassle with weird shipping, upgrade policies, components that are 1/2 installed, thermal paste stains on the chassis, etc.? Yeah - this is perfect for you. 1k dollars and you are gaming within 5 minutes of turning it on. All the parts are new parts, no bs. Good pc.
I order my HP omen 30L a few weeks ago, its coming in with a 2070 super as well as 16gb of ram, and 512gb of ssd, but due to the pandemic i still have to wait a few more weeks to get it, its funny how I also got the monitor and that came in first and overall it looks sleek asf not going to lie, also thank you for finally making a video on this pre built pc, all give you my sub as a thank you.
hey im glad someone else is In the same boat as im in. Ordered the Ryzen 7 and GtX 2060 version last week and its delayed. I did get my Omen keyboard, Hp monitor and mouse shipped to me so now I just awkwardly sit at my setup and click on my mouse and imagine playing Cod Warzone....One day my friend. One day.
Have one now for almost 3 years, flawless performance and will replace it with a new one this fall. LED got unplugged after a week, had enough of the lights. One flaw is lack of PCIe slots, only 2 comes with the unit, it is either one GPU and something else. I needed extra USB + 10 Gb NIC, had to choose one. This is where a home made PC will make a difference where you can choose a MB with more PCIe slots. I do business/work, video/photo (this is why I had 10 Gb NIC on 10 Gb Switch/NAS) and gaming on this PC and it just keeps on going. I highly recommend this product, have also 3 years onsite warranty as I use it for business also.
Never had Omen, always had MSI, but it looks so good. I am planning to buy it, I don't play too many games but I want the best graphics I can get without the PC blowing up. It looks like a solid choice. But personally I would go with AMD and perhaps something more powerful.
I just got this pc yesterday! It's a really good pc for me. I ran Halo 2 Anniversary with enhanced graphics paired with anniversary graphics. It looked so beautiful, it was fast, and the pc was silent
Definitely should have 16GB here in 2020, and two sticks of RAM for dual channel, otherwise pretty nice. I noticed on HP's website that they don't hose you as badly on upgrades as some other major builders do.
I have this PC , 850 at best buy. My first gaming PC and it's awesome. Paried up to my 75 inch 4k HDR TV . I'm in heaven. I only care about playing games at 60fps and most games hit 1440p 60, fps easy. That's all I need . Bought another 8 gig stick of hyper X fury ram to make it 16gb and I'm set . It all depends what u want to do with your PC . This being my first I'm more than happy.

The only downside is the 8gb ram but honestly it doesn't make too much of a difference for my work. but will probably be looking to put another stick in soon. Anyway great review and I definitely recommend this pc as well.
im getting it now a definite but a question does it overheat a lot or sometimes or not at all because, i was looking at the reviews and they started talking about heating problems
The issue with pre builts like this is the base configurations, like this one. AMD processors greatly benefit from dual channel and having a single stick of RAM and only 2 slots is very bad. People who are buying ryzen 5 should not be getting these PCs since it's a great disservice to themselves.nothing wrong with prebuilts, but this one in particular isn't babglod example of what you should buy. And buying/supporting these models gives these big companies the wrong idea.
Most of the ones online come with 2 sticks of ram, I think this one came with 1 because it was a base model, it’s an improvement from a year ago where they came with 1 16gb ram stick and now they come with 2 8gb sticks
I'm over here rocking a 7-year-old HP pavilion with a dying hard drive. Am I going to switch anytime soon? No, I have absolutely no idea why I watch videos like this other than PCS are freaking cool.
Also feel like it's worth mentioning if you have any intention on getting this computer with a high end RTX Card and want it to run cool you will need to create a custom fan curve using MSI Afterburner. HP Omen offer their own fan control however I found it's pretty useless and my RTX 2080 Ti on full load rested at 84c. Not dangerous but definitely not cool. With MSI on full load she now rests at 71, but is considerably louder. So yeah, something to note.
I ordered one with an Rtx 2060 and a Ryzen 7 3700x it just came today and I opened it up and the grafics card was not installed correctly. And me, being a person who is getting their first pc and doesn’t know how to build one I called the place I got it from told them what happened and they are sending another one. u can just get the other prebuilt with the 2060 already installed but if u wanna do it ur self just take out the 1660 by unplugging the cobles from it and make sure u screw off the back case port then just replace it with the 2060 but i dont really recomend the 2060 with the ryzen 5 3600 its better with the ryzen 7 3700x
I bought the 30L with the rtx 2080 ti configuration, it works differently in the uk. unlike the us, we can't customize the parts via the website, but rather just have a selection of prebuilts to choose from. Considering the fact HP offer student discount here, I was able to get the 2080ti with the new 10th generation i9 liquid cooled for 2500 POUNDS. not bad considering semi prebuilt websites like pcspecialist etc and similar models were 2800+. only downside was the weak 500gb ssd. Really like omen, no complaints here, other than the fact that if i built the system myself i could have made it a little cooler, but still great. glad they've started using some good brands for other parts now too unlike my last omen desktop, really appreciate the cooler master psu.
@@Chefbaker Hey, honestly the one I got is definitely overkill for beginners but definitely one of these desktops will do the trick for you. What do you play?
Lauren Harvey right now I got a switch, PS4, and Xbox. I want to start streaming and what a PC that can handle both streaming and me playing the game without dropping frames on the game or stream. I just got my blue yeti, my elgato 4K game capture, and my camera. I play a lot of 2k but for apex COD or any other FPS Ima use the PC. I also like Mods like GTA or 2k etc for funny entertainment.
@@Chefbaker oh awesome, what's your budget? a rtx 2070 is a decent price atm but the 2080 ti is just incredibly overpriced due to bitcoin mining. i'd get minimum 32gb memory but i'd definitely look up some recommended specs. the top OMEN Pc could definitely do all of that, it just depends how much you're willing to spend. The store is different in america to the uk pretty drastically, so it's hard for me to suggest exact models.
The only reason I'm going for prebuilt PC with this one is because there's not enough stocks in GPU right now so I can't really custom build my own PC. And no way in hell would I spend a lot money on one GPU that's overprice from other sellers at this time so the HP Omen 30L is what I'm going for.
I was looking to get the 25L, but found out there were some bad reviews, such as how hot it got, how the fans weren't quiet, and this PC is slightly more expensive but it is the one I'm going to save for instead. So thank you for making this review :]
@@edwardsanchez6998 as long as you put the fans on turbo while gaming you should be able to have a great medium high experience with the gpu reaching about 100 degrees fairnheit and cpu hitting about 150 fairnheit
I've had this product for just under a year, but recently changed the ryzen 5 3600x to a ryzen 7 3800x, and oh man was it a challenge,. If your looking to seriously upgrade the thing its not worth the money, it only has two slots for ram, and the power supply needs to be changed as soon as you upgrade your gpu pretty much. Look somewhere else if you want to have a computer that lasts you a long time and is capable of upgrades as you go.
Don't know much about computers, but in process of ordering Omen 30L (Ryzen 9 3900) with (RX 5700XT 8 GB GDDR5 gpu). Will it support 3 monitors at 1080 resolution? upkote I’m getting the 16gb one that’s like 1300
I just got this make! Super stoked for this to come in!!! Thanks for the review (:
is it good?
How much FPS does this pc run for MW
I have one and get 120-150 but I added ram and changed some settings
this is gonna be my first pc in getting it on christmas can’t wait!
i got mine tdy and i don’t even know how to open the side panel :(
same i’ve been trying to figure that out too
Rewatch the video..there should be a button that reads INTERNAL ACCESS in the back..just press it and the side panel should come off
Does it come with windows 10 already downloaded are do u have to buy it
Already has it
About to buy my first PC. Might go with this one
Man, where is the cable management? it came this way? Holy...
Also single channel memory and a low airflow case
omg this video was so helpful thank you man
Nice setup! Any way nice to see more videos from yeah haven't seen much stuff from yeah lately.
I love this pc the exception is I have a dell 27 inch monitor and it’s almost like having a tv up close
I was just looking at the HP Omen line yesterday...consequence, I think NOT!!!
Perfect timing ;)
you mean coincidence?
I just got this PC! I got the R7 3700X RTX 2060 16Gb version. I've yet to set it up but I'm super excited as this is my first gaming pc🥳.
Is better right?
I want the omen 25l
R7 3700x
Rx 5700
Is worth 1000$?
@@XlxKris22xlX So far I'm loving the 30L. The 30L gets you better airflow so you might want to consider getting it. If you're on a tight budget that seems like a solid build too.
How do I install a rtx 2060 graphics card in this pc
u can just get the other prebuilt with the 2060 already installed but if u wanna do it ur self just take out the 1660 by unplugging the cobles from it and make sure u screw off the back case port then just replace it with the 2060 but i dont really recomend the 2060 with the ryzen 5 3600 its better with the ryzen 7 3700x
@@Yak.r just got mine this weekend. It came with RYZEN 7 3700x, rtx 2060, 16gb ram. Can’t wait to test it out fully
Great review mate, thanks a lot ✌🏽
u really had to throw the monitor in there now i want that one too.... :/
Thanks for the review I was looking for a professional opinion on this gaming PC.
This is a bit different from the version I got
Ghost Ωmega does your pc get hot quickly or does it have good cooling
@@Hyprz. no problem with cooling cpu and gpu never exceed 80c
Ghost Ωmega so that means it has good cooling?
My dad has had a omen for a bit and it’s pretty good for the price
Anything HP makes isn’t solid 😅
Very professional review. Great job mate!
Great review. I was about to get an MSI but after this review I have a hard decission to make.
Thanks! I was thinking on buying this!
I also bought one it’s a solid pic and works very well no complains
I can’t wait for mine coming September 16
SirSoma Yes ....
Is it a good pc for beginners
Lauren Harvey thanks for the help, I say 1500 my max for budget. Omen was the PC that caught my eye.
The only reason I'm going for prebuilt PC with this one is because there's not enough stocks in GPU right now so I can't really custom build my own PC. And no way in hell would I spend a lot money on one GPU that's overprice from other sellers at this time so the HP Omen 30L is what I'm going for.
Definitely gonna have to buy
If I wanted to replace the graphics card let’s say with an ASUS ROG RTX 3080 would it be able to fit?
Just ordered my 30L w/ etc 2060. I’m hype.after watching this I kind of feel like replaying my 27” acer monitor for one of those fancy omen ones 🥺
ive never seen the mouse move more smooth on the home screen
Great video! You really presented this well and I enjoyed watching you. Thanks!
I got the 30l with the 2060 I’m pumped to get going it’s my first pc
Where'd you order from? Thanks 👍
@Paulie Walnuts Thanks Paulie. I think that's the one I'm looking at. 👍
@@Gaverny it was best buy
I was looking to get the 25L, but found out there were some bad reviews, such as how hot it got, how the fans weren't quiet, and this PC is slightly more expensive but it is the one I'm going to save for instead. So thank you for making this review :]
Honestly just build your own computer cause as an omen owner I found that the computer is hard to upgrade cause of how small the case is
I recently got my own HP Omen 30L, pretty neat ngl.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super and Ryzen 9 3900 pairing

ty ty finally found an omen 30L ryzen review
Just picked this up todAY. Be here in a couple days. My god im so excited. Coming ffrom a rx580 and a rzyen 5 1400. So i am stoked!
How is it
Both case and monitor look so good for prebuild systems, they sell it
yeah mine comes with a ryzen 7 and a rtx 3060 ti i cant wait to get this
Thanks this was very helpful because I’m coping this
How is it
“Do you hear that?” *truebill ad starts playing*
I actually have this one, it’s really good at streaming and it can run r6 and apex at pretty high graphics
I have heard that it has a problem about overheating is that true?
@@oscar-mq8us i believe that is the omen laptops not desktops
@@oscar-mq8us yeah it’s not a huge issue as of now but it hits pretty high temperatures
@@laindoer5811 how is it now?
@@edwardsanchez6998 as long as you put the fans on turbo while gaming you should be able to have a great medium high experience with the gpu reaching about 100 degrees fairnheit and cpu hitting about 150 fairnheit
I just got one so I wanted to see all it can do thanks for the video
How is it
I've had this product for just under a year, but recently changed the ryzen 5 3600x to a ryzen 7 3800x, and oh man was it a challenge,.
I don't need the image to stretch across all screens...I do a lot of multitasking for my job, and have multiple programs open at one time. The multiple screens obviously make that much easier. Sorry for my ignorance, and thank you ahead of time for any helpful answers.
Yes easily 5700xt is powerful
Got this model but with RYZEN 7 3700x, RTX 2060, 16gb ram for $760 at Best Buy sale. Plus I added a 2 year warranty for $150. I bought some stuff already before to build my own but would of came out to be around $1400. Returned all the pc parts I bought and got this pre build :)
Still have it? How do you like it? Looking to get it soon, as my first PC
Wait so you go on their website choose the parts you want in it and they build it and ship it to a store near you for pickup? You don't have to build it yourself?
good video. what chipset does hp use and motherboard brand?
Would a 240 hrtz monitor be good if the graphic card is a rtx 2060 and processor being a ryzen 7 3700x. Mostly for Fortnite
Should I just get it pre built?
boutta get one of these with the 27 x monitor 👌 upgrading from a laptop and hella excited
lol same
😩 now I have to buy all of this... like you sold this!!!
So should I get this?
