Good change imo. It’s still there and big enough to read but not tooo big. Also thank you for this! Content like this is great, especially to share to friends who are new to the game.
Very glad that you're still doing ship commentaries. Meta changed a lot since then thanks to wargaming's bullshit balancing. Nice to get a refresher on how to play the ship. Keep up the good work mate!
A note to new players. I spend at least an hour each day on YT seeing how other players play WoWS. Flamu is a staple just like breathing air. You can learn a lot from this guy.
As any competitive Moskva player can tell you, in a clanwars/KoTS setting, one of the first things you figure out awfully fast in Moskva/Stalin/maybe petro is that your third turret doesn't exist. Don't use it. Ever. If you use it, they can citadel you under the front turrets. Moskva and Stalingrad are NOT ships that forgive positioning mistakes particularly easily.
Early petro was so busted you could just kill people with the 3 turrets faster than they could aim at you but yes, right now, thats how you play them, either pointing the nose, or in stalingrad case even in kiting positioning if you get a bad map side, since staling angles when kitting are good enough to bounce I think
@@cob-codeofbrawl7668 Stalin's forward and backward angles are good enough to use all three turrets safely against a single target unless you're fighting another Stalin with its improved AP angles.
To be honest, I don't play the game anymore, didn't touch it in a year, but every now and then, I watch one of your videos about it. I always liked the Moskva since I first got her, and I think that she didn't need to be replaced in the tech tree...
Thank you sir!.. never had Moskva.. been on the receiving end a few times.. knowing how to delete one: terribly useful!, all these sort of videos, especially how to get into position and the details as you're going along, are pure gold.
As a potato watching this video, it's like me touching the black monolith. True enlightment! ..at least until my next game where I yolo and die within the first 2 minutes.
I know PC can chat in text but I honestly can't believe Wargambling hasn't added the Legends call out "I've been detected!" It was so incredibly useful. I also used the requesting support a second or two before using radar. No text chat you have to improvise best you can. Not sure why this clip reminded me of that.
More of these kinds of videos pls! I am a bit (read totally) potato in this game (only 52% wr) and I want to learn. I just don't have time to see these videos on twitch.
Moskva is one of my most favourite ships. Murderously punishing if you fuck up with positioning, but if done right, it can be a pain in the ass for enemies to try to get rid of one bunkered Moskva. Although with subs around it's less of a case now, and kiting is where it is now usually, unless you like getting a torpedo shoved into your ass.
I would love for you to briefly go through the reasoning behind a person getting the Stalingrad if you already had the moskova and petropavlovsk. To me the gameplay with all three of those heavy Russian Cruisers is almost identical. For example could you explain the difference in this game play that you showed in this video how it would differ if you were in either of those other two Cruisers?
So sad that doesn't work reliably in randoms. I've had cv-free games that I was parked on a rock having radar and visual coverage of 2 caps, for 15'. Tanked almost 5m potential, luckily vs mostly non-he bbs (the era of HE cancer before the 457 apocalypse and superships, where your worst nightmare took the form of hakuryu dive bobmers citadeling u reliably for 20k or else 3 smolensks div burning me down). All I needed was the typical shima 20k guy, just endlessly torp threating a brave fdg that wanted to burn me down. I was just playing the game "how many bb turrets can i smash".
Especially with Moskva being for Coal now: I see soooo many dumb players playing her. Sail broadside to everything... open water... don't use radar... sit three years away from anything... Generally seeing that people don't understand the tankiness of this ship
I do think that Schlieffen should have dealt with You convincingly by going straight at You. He would die by doing so anyway though... But his move was extra pepega....
Would you still recommend the Moskva in Random battles? Seems like it could be very, and I mean very vulnerable to CVs and their cancer spam. So is it still viable in the current meta? Can you kite in the Moskva?
Moskva gameplay has another aspect. Its very hard to disengage once you committed to being nose-in. If you have the opportunity, can you post another video about how to find a position you can easily disengage from or just reply to this comment? Thanks!
You dont disengage, you play safe around the island cover and make a last stand when the opponent closes the distance, or ram if you have large HP disadvantage. You have far better chances at enduring than turning.
No help for your DD at start. Luck to have stupid players in ennemy team that broadside everytime. No try to avoid torp. No proper use of heal.... Good battle?

Thats a good change for me👍🏼
it's good for context and doesn't take too much away from the vid
It's a nice format.
Twitch is always more fun with chat so good change imo

We need more of this
@@thedoctor2880 I concur.
I'm not disagreeing on the ship commentary thing, but this is completely basic Moskva gameplay. It didn't change at all since this ships release
Nice to see Battleship Moskva getting a good run at current meta :)
Prof. Flamu back again with his lessons/commentaries. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge as in the old days
A note to new players. I spend at least an hour each day on YT seeing how other players play WoWS. Flamu is a staple just like breathing air. You can learn a lot from this guy.

Petro does have really good firing angles, certainly more forgiving than Moskva's.
@@cob-codeofbrawl7668 Stalin's forward and backward angles are good enough to use all three turrets safely against a single target unless you're fighting another Stalin with its improved AP angles.
The third turret only exists to scare away DDs
They take inspiration from tier 8 Lenin.
I love when flamu does thus type of videos when he explains the process of the gameplay
I loved this video and Flamu's comments/insights/tips on how to Moskva.
To be honest, I don't play the game anymore, didn't touch it in a year, but every now and then, I watch one of your videos about it. I always liked the Moskva since I first got her, and I think that she didn't need to be replaced in the tech tree...

Schlieffen paid actor proving flolo with citadels
Love it!! Please more of it. So helpful to a new player like me. Helps to realize what to focus on and when you have to prioritize what.
Only works when there is no CV or subs. Like Flamu said, just kite away when those two menace appear.
That's also a really good map for a radar cruiser.
Would love to see more of these live situational “how to play XYZ” vids
your commentary helps me a ton bc that is BY FAR my biggest weakness...map knowledge and positioning
Of particular notes here are "I didn't expect that" moments and how he adapts his behaviors on the fly
keep this video style up Flamu! This is part I love it! Keep it going!

Yeah the only solution for this is a mod
omg... I love his art of domination and predicting so much. GGWP like always - cu in your stream :)
I enjoy the explanation of your strategies and thought process.
NGL I miss flamu doing these educational stuffs with ship play.

Then what you call people with WR less than 50% and another sub-40%?
52% after 1000 games is totally different to 52% after 10,000 games. Either way, you're comfortably above average.
@@anamestillaname7540 True, but I still feel after 8000 games, that I'm missing huge ammount details how to become better.
The way you say "perfectly safe" reminds me of Bob Ross describing happy accidents or little trees.
Always love your how to play guides.
Thank you for the explanation and not to much bad language. great player
I only started Warships last christmas, so i unlocked Marceu first as i wanted a fast FPM ship.
My next ship for coal will probably be Moskva.
flamu showing off why moskva is my fav ship ever since the beginning lol
My mentor Flolo, I need more vids like this please
Ship commentaries are the best! I miss hearing "Hello hello"!
Awesome video friend 👍👍👍

Kiting was the play before subs, whenever there was a CV.
Remember Richtofen?
@@ryanli5803 With CVs it started to become a more preferable way of playing Moskva but with subs it's just the only way now.

What sort of pc do you have? Also nice video mate
great gameplay with the comments!
Thanks alot for this video. Im such a shitter in my Moskva.
CENTRAL CRUISER POSITIONIIING
How do see that a part of the ship is saturated?
Looks so easy when you do it, thanks for the video.
Would you still recommend the Moskva in Random battles? Seems like it could be very, and I mean very vulnerable to CVs and their cancer spam. So is it still viable in the current meta? Can you kite in the Moskva?
what do u do when noone in your team is spotting (literally my every match in the moskva) n u r kiteing cus theres a carrier on the enemy team

Playing like a chess. Good job
If that Schlieffen rushed you, you'd be dead. That's the only problem with Moskva (and crossfires, of course). You can't stop a yoloer.
What would you say are the finer differences between this and Stalin? I feel like i play Stalin pretty much the same in ranked
Can we apply the same method with Petro?
How come you don't use legendary mod? Is it because it's ranked so you dont need the range benefits?
Did you play reload mod because you don't have legendary mod on the russian server or because you think reload mod is better?
0:18 Unlike the recent one
Is this on the RU server? Or is Flamu trying to learn Russian?
ok just 1 question. why in the world would you play on RU ?
Thoughts of differences between Moskva and Petro ?
Same story except your broadside is stronger. So in the case you get flanked you have a chance to angle before exploding.
moskva has better reload but petro is stealthier and waterline citadel and overall almost waterline profile making it quite tankier
Moskva is much more suited for long range fight due to better dispersion, but armor wise Petro is 100 times better (also better AA and shell velocity)
Moskva and Mockba. why?
Why are the UI elements in russian but non-russian ship names are still in english lol
watching this replay makes me think bots play better than most players nowadays
T.Y 🙏🙏
why show this, now all moskva players gonna be unicums
Counters: Neptune
I much prefer this kind of content, compared to the flaming and shit talking constantly :D
TextBook game play
No help for your DD at start.
Luck to have stupid players in ennemy team that broadside everytime.
No try to avoid torp.
No proper use of heal....
Good battle?
