- The more I play with the new Petro Unique Upgrade, the more I like it. Absolutely filthy dispersion on a hull this tanky is kinda hilarious.

While the UU upgrade is good I want the other upgrade you have where you seem to get an endless amount of broadsides to punish, I hardly ever see this kinda recklessness on the Asia server sadly... you made me want to try petro again 🙂

I had one enemy shell ricochet and explode in front of my camera, with the explosion covering half of my screen lol
Reports suggest it just missed the space station. Phew!
Both shells went to different spatial codes, one missed the I.S.S and the other one is trying to find Pluto.
If subs and CVs are WG's protected classes, I think Petro is their favorite surface ship lol

To those wo don't know what the UU does:
The unique upgrade for Petropavlovsk can be installed in the 6th slot and has the following parameters:
Maximum AP shell damage: +10%
Maximum main battery shell dispersion: -10%
Number of charges for consumables: -1
Edit: changed wrong values
Actually it's 10% on both, otherwise accurate!
@@Flamuuso the UU was buffed from the original announcement for it clearly the 7% was performing below it’s expectations and had to be buffed and in exchange lose one consumable to balance this change -WG
It granting you more offensive capability while reduce your longevity by reducing your "Effective health pool" by 9% as well as remove 1 charge of your defensive tool ( hydro, radar )

most matches don't last long enough to have you use all your consumables and the ones that do are usually devoid of DDs and cruisers because they already killed themselves off. easy trade for fun and consistent guns
@@zacharyjackson1829I think the UU will be a bit less impactful im CB where you want these consumables but l on the other hand, you just can use an aggressive clan setup to end the match quick enough.
My clan usually plays really aggressive and mostly takes the Initiative which is pretty rewarding since we are pretty good in a team (playing some other team based games besides wows) sobI think this upgrade is a good addition to players who are doing the same
Hopefully you'll check out the Gouden UU when it's released, will be interesting at 50 second recharge

It's stronger than prenerf Stalingrad. Stalingrad has 50% higher reload.

Got the Petro UU right after your first vid, loving it!
Russian boats get laser guns with good pen values and tanky hulls that, even when with advertised weaknesses, are not class exclusive or devoid of trollish armour schemes. But no, no bias.
the only bias i see is that this finnish troll complains constantly about disbalance in the game, and CVs and subs in general, but literally every time i check his channel he plays cancer like this with 300K dmg and half of the enemy team killed in solo, not even shamed to tell people that he's having a good time. and for four years srtraight already.
also, every time lesta does some fantasy soviet ship, he's so quick to remind everyone that soviets haven't build any ships, because they were garbage at industry, etc ect, being that naval expert he is... and, i mean... literally, every. single. devblog.
but when fantasy designs get introduced by other nations - not a single word. so i guess designs like shlieffen dotally was builded by germans. also, clerly they were conpletely unfun to play. dead on arrival. flamu haven't touched them.

Have you considered using regular stereo headphones? Sure theres some additional gear to get like a dac and amp, but the sound quality is much better in my experience. Since you dont use the mic.

The Petro is more like a mini/light battleship than a heavy cruiser. Even with all the nerfs done to this ship, it still citadels like crazy, and is super tough when you bow tank with it.
The question is, do they nerf Legmods and will they nerf this one eventually?
They nerfed Midway, Haku, and Henri's earlier this year.

So I watched the game you posted yesterday. Let me get this straight..... The community whine to WG that the Petro is OP, so they temporarily remove it from Clan Battle selection while they address the issues, I don't own one, After getting Moskva I turned away from Russian ships.... so correct me if I am wrong. They raised the ship out of the water a bit to expose its citadel to being hittable more regularly right, anyways, I imagine the guns, dispersion and accuracy never got nerfed, it is afterall Russian biased sorry balanced..... So in WG's infinite wisdom, they give this thing a Unique Upgrade, that improves the firepower at the cost of 1 consumable.... with I imagine is such a loss in general. How long before the community are whining about this 'new' Petro..... First week of CB season upcoming.... when will WG take their heads from up their own ass, and learn to listen to the community. How many more players fo they want to walk away, because of this new brainstormer of an idea.
I think dispersion, concealment, and deck armor got nerfed. Plus WG has added a lot more cancer to distract us since then.
deck armour was nerfed, I think concealment was too. The deck armour nerf made a big difference because it meant stuff like Henri can pen it with HE
What does the UU give?
-10% Dispersion
+10% AP Damage
-1 Consumable
Slot 6, so replaces the -12% reload on petro
Super accuracy but less shots and a bit less tankness

@@klmntssometimes it legitimately feels that they screwed themselves over by putting any bow overmatch in the game. Now, bb’s are doomed to be inaccurate because otherwise they’ll be able to smash cruisers from any angle.

I used to dislike Petro but with all of these subs and CVs on the game its the only way to at least have some fun on a surface ship.
I'll admit. Petro's super long Radar even screws submarines on the surface that are not even close. It's comical to be honest.
Petro is like a cruiser that is HARD to delete. And is one major thorn to both Destroyers and Submarines.
CVs also hate the Petro cause well. Petro can swat the planes like nothing. Similar to AA des monies.

Good news for you! Submarines are slightly nerfed. Furthermore. Japan and Italy cruisers are now Submarine hunters!
Meaning if you love playing those ships? You got some new toys to smash submarines.
It's interesting that the Petro has better dispersion now with this mod, but I still feel that it is inherently underpowered and still lacks the necessary attributes to contribute meaningfully to the match.
To be fair, it can be really frustrating but it is in no way weak, except at HE spam. The trick is getting into a position where you can fire AP and be in partial cover. If you play it like a regular cruiser then yes, it is quite weak. However if you play it like a battlecruiser it makes more sense
