Ditto. Found Sabaton via watching an Audie Murphy movie, and reading in Wikipedia about the band doing To Hell and Back. So in March 2022, I bought tickets, gave one away to someone at the door, and ever since, it's metal! After the Sabaton concert, I'm still 70, but felt 40 years younger. Asking for a friend: Is it ok to have Christmas Truce still playing in my head 2 months after the concert?
In Taiwan we would say that life begins at 70

This was the first time I heard this song, so I checked out the original and I don't know why I waited so long to hear it! For the first time in my life, I'm enjoying covers of my favourite bands, and I love them just as much as the originals. I never thought it was possible until I discovered Tommy's channel. Life can be full of surprises!

Best version of Eagle Fly Free that I've heard in my entire life. I think this is even better than the original record. Congrats for being so talented and for being able to put so much passion and creativity in this cover. This symphonic version of the song makes my skin crawl

@@heisenberg470 Yes, I know it might sound stupid, but actually is more of a thing of my personal taste. I like power metal with synths and all the symphonic stuff, and since I heard this instrumental arrangement and the instrumental of Twilight Force's cover, the original instrumental sounds like a bit boring for me compared to the glorious and epic feeling I get from this arrangements. But it's something personal of mine hahaahah weird tastes

As Sabaton fan I know you can shred and since having subscribed to your channel I know you can sing the shit out of everything. What I learned today is: You are killing it on the bass and I am quite sure Markus would be proud, if he saw it. One of my favorite songs covered by one of my favorite artists! Beautiful rendition, sir. I had to send this to my son, as a small child he was adamant it was "Beagle Fly Free" and would bellow his own version of the lyrics constantly and argue with anyone who tried to correct him. He will never live it down.
