As a huge THIN LIZZY fan, I think that Tommy's Emerald is the best cover I've ever heard. Very good guitar work and the Vocals are special because Tommy didn't try to be Philo, but put his own spin on it, great work Tommy it was a joy to behold. 10/10 and Philo would have loved it🎸🎸🎸
Have you heard the version Darren Wharton has done with his band Dare? Very different, but incredible.

Brian Robertson and Scott Gorham were the original guitarists on Emerald. Gary Moore had zero to do with it.

Tack Tommy!!! You took me back in my youth. In time (early 80's) when we (our band) played Lizzy's live and dangerous from start to finish! And it was so cool!!! Wonderful job to take this little gem from 70's and bring it back to our days. But are you really sure the world is ready for two Tommys? Just got used to one...😆😆 (I think Brian Robertson and Scott Gorham got their eyes and ears opened...wide open...

I really like how you played for the most part Gary’s late 80s solo but also threw in a lick he played in the 2005 Dublin performance and also a little bit of your own stuff. The hooting whammy bar to break into the solo was a masterstroke.
