@@Racoldgin Yes, he certainly did! Any player worth his salt learns as much as he can about modes, because they unlock so much more of the instrument's potential. As a great player and even better teacher once told me, "If music really is a universal language, music theory is its grammar." I can never quite remember the names of all the modes, but I definitely put in the effort to learn them. Over and above the basic major scale, each mode is simply a related scale based around a given position *within* that major scale, be it 2nd, 3rd, 4th et cetera. For example, the intervals of a minor scale (based around the 6th note of the major root) will be 212-2122. Still the most underrated guitarist of all time. Gary god bless him, was unbelievable in his playing. I really miss that he is not in this world anymore. Rest in Peace Mr. Gary Moore, goodnight mate.
Gary Moore wasn't nearly as underrated as some incredibly talented players I could name. Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush were a massive big deal during the 1970s, but when the music video era came along, they just got lost in the shuffle, somehow, and its a darn shame, too. Some folks like to claim that Frank Marino was a "Hendrix imitator," but if you really check out his body of work, you'll soon find that he went very far beyond what Jimi did. "Dragonfly" was one of their biggest hits back in the day...check it out, you just might learn to love and appreciate them.😉

This song is nothing short of amazing. When you listen to the Still Got The Blues record this song almost feels like a sneak peek of what was to come. Furthermore I wish I could’ve seen Gary in concert before he died. I live in the USA and sadly he never took off in popularity in America outside of the Still Got the Blues record and that’s probably why he never chose to tour here. R.I.P Gary Moore. The music will live forever.
I am from a Third World Country in the Pacific, and I have followed and admitted Gary Moore, even though there are other great players, the thing that made Gary Moore stands out apart from the rest is that he plays with deep feelings, he can make his guitar cry , sing, yell, and he does it with emotion/ feelings . His guitar solos can very definitely hypnotized you and make you want to pick up a guitar even though it’s past midnight and everyone are sleeping. That’s how powerful Gary Moore’s playing is. All the so called expert critics can try and analyze Gary Moore’s playing tactics, but above all he is the best and always will be, kids will find him interesting and will pick up a guitar cause of him. You’re a rare God sent and taken. RIP Gary.

Maybe it is a super easy song technically. Maybe you don't have a clue
+FenderJunkie100 btw yesterday i was able to reconstract part of it without tabulature it is very catchy and super emotional i was feeling lonely so it was in resonance with my feelings!
Legends never die!
One of the greatest most soulful musicians... MAN!!!
one of the greatest solos of all time
This song is such a masterpiece. Like hardly any other song, this transports a deeply longing (for whatever) ❤
Most underrated guitarist ever. He made those guitars sing like nobody else could. An absolute legend. RIP Gary ❣️🙏
He was not underrated. Who told you that?
This song is nothing short of amazing. When you listen to the Still Got The Blues record this song almost feels like a sneak peek of what was to come. Furthermore I wish I could’ve seen Gary in concert before he died. I live in the USA and sadly he never took off in popularity in America outside of the Still Got the Blues record and that’s probably why he never chose to tour here. R.I.P Gary Moore. The music will live forever.
the most logical song ever. everything is as it should be.
Every note is where it belongs, it takes loads of talent to write a solo like this
One of the greatest guitarists of all time, yet underrated... what a feel, a pure class....
The only sound and video in the world that describes lonely man. This is the art about lonely man
Beautiful summer day . But Mr. Moore's guitar begins to play and tears appear in the man's eyes !
gary moore ! one of the greatest guitarist ever !
he left this life to early as far as i am concerned !
the royal Albert Hall is not enough for such a great guitar Player. Miss you so much gary !!!
RIP Gary.
No doubt he's making the guitar cry!! What a masterpiece this is!!
A true talented genius. His guitar playing and vocals can never be matched. Such a loss for us all.
Gary didn't even need lyrics he just let his guitar do all the talking!!...The emotional effect his playing has is bar none. Shivers down my spine & too underrated 1 of my favorites. And Rolling Stone magazine can eff off not even putting this legend in their 100 best guitarists!!..I mean really?? Rest easy Mr Moore.🤘
This is the 1000th time I listen to this, and still enjoying it like the first time.
You’re not going to go wrong learning from this master, that’s guaranteed!!! Thank you Gary Moore, RIP 🌹🌹🌹
This song should've been 'Stairway To Heaven' Part II. Absolutely mesmorising & untouchable. The greatest guitarist ever
I never get tired to listen to sound of guitar by Gary Moore..
